[Resolved]  Maruti India Ltd. — Insurance

I have insured my Vehicle bearing no--OR 02 AT 4499, Maruti Dezire through Maruti Insurance & the Insurance is valid upto June--11. While driving through a culvert water entered inside the Vehicle & stopped. I have given the vehicle for repair to CARS INDIA,Maruti authorised dealer at Ambattur,Chennai. As per them they have to dismantle the Engine & since expense will be heavy ,go for Insurance. I have told them since it is Maruti Insurance ,you do what ever formalities are required. But they refused to take any action & told that since it is tied up by us with New India Insurance ,you go to their office,file complain,arrange for surveyor etc. & if they agree then only we will take up the job. My vehicle is standing in the Garage & I am running here& their. When I have done the Insurance through Maruti represantative at Orissa, they assured me that in case of any eventuality it is a cashless & immediate service,hence I have preferred to go for this. Now they are harrassing & my vehicle is standing idle.
