I had purchased a brand new Maruti Omni 5 st. bearing chassis No. 1138428 on 12.09.2009 from M/s Magic Auto Limited, New Delhi. In this regard my complaint is as under: -
1. All the first three free service have been done from M/s Magic Auto Limited, New Delhi.
2. It has been observed since last week that some noise is developed and experienced from the Engine of above van. I have said vehicle to your dealer M/s Magic Auto Limited, New Delhi for rectification of the fault since vehicle is still covered under warranty period. To my surprise M/s Magic Auto Limited, New Delhi has informed me that Engine noise is not covered under warranty & therefore rectification/repairing of the fault is to be done on chargeable basis, which I refused to do so.
3. Thereafter I went to your authorized dealer ‘M/s Maruti Sales & Services’ at Nariana & asking them to repair the fault of engine, which they assured me that it will be done during the 4th Paid Service, which I agreed. They have also told me that repairing will be done after adjustments of Tapped.
4. On 01.05.2010 when I went there to take the delivery of the vehicle after 4th paid service I found that fault in engine has not been repaired and it was told me that sine the vehicle is fitted with CNG hence excess noise in engine can’t be repaired. I have no other option but to take my vehicle without being repaired.
5. I would like to inform you that CNG had been fitted by the Govt. authorized center/dealer and the same had been endorsed on the RC book by the Transport department as per rule.
6. As per your Warranty condition as mentioned in “OWNER’S MANUAL & SEVICE BOOKLET”, warranty has not been applied for LPG Fitting whereas in my case it is CNG hence the same should be covered under warranty. Was this information helpful? |
