[Resolved]  Max New York Life Insurance Company — Open Fraud and Cheating from MTNL

With a great trauma which I have undergone for three years post taking the above mentioned policy with Max New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd.., (The Company) I would like to bring to your kind notice how a customer is been cheated and harassed by this company expecting you to help me as now I feel you are the last one hope left for me.



I was approached by a Sales Manage Max New York for making me buy the above-mentioned policy, with good terms and trust I have agreed to by the policy.
I was issued with the policy documents after fifteen to twenty days of making the payments. After receiving the policy document I have noticed that someone clearly overwritten and changed by date of birth to 19th May 1977 where in my correct date of birth which I have mentioned in the application (the policy document was 19th May 1978.
When I brought this to the company notice they just ignored by complaint by justifying that nothing really would effect this small correction. And excess charges of 20% which they charged as agent commission was mandate even though customers are not updated on this.
Later again I approached the company to assist me in correcting the above details and also update my new address which I have changed. The company initially clearly denied for correction and later on insisting for correction, they asked to visit their Begumpet branch ( Gowra Plaza) Hyd. Which I did given my complaint in written with relevant address change and DOB correction documents.
Even after months when I have not received any update and my details were still not rectified I visited the branch again and to my surprise I got a reply stating they miss placed my complaint details hence were unable to change the address and DOB.
I have contacted various number of times request them to please address the issue and customer care was also very reluctant in allowing me to speak to any superior to express my issue.
After making my two premiums and having changed my address twice which were never taken into consideration I have decided to stop making the payment expecting some superior would get in touch to resolve my problem, however hard luck no one turned up.
After realizing that I was neck depth cheated by this company decided to make my third premium at the end of the year i.e., on 12th Feb 2010 for the complete year which my policy was lapsed. Knowing that this was not a wise decision still I made the payment by visiting the branch at Astral Heights, Banjara hills road no.1 as I lost faith with people working at Gowra Plaza.
Hard luck struck me again, this time the company did not even acknowledge the payment which I had paid at their own branch. Now when I enquired with customer care they are saying I have not given complete documents(health declaration form) so funds are lying is suspense account.
I just want to know from the company and you is it not the basic responsibility of the branch officials collect and inform the customer about the relevant documents while they only eager to collect the amount from the customer. How would a customer now the process and procedures of a company. And again all the documents which I have given to correct my details were totally ignored till date.


Please… Please help me once and for all from getting out of the clutches of this cruel company which does not have ears to listen to the customer and understand what a customer is try into say for three years. Due to the address issue I have not received any communications from the company.



Sir… I request you to please investigate the case and I you find the above mentioned points are valid please assist me atleast getting back my principal amount back from these people.



For your kind information till date i.e., 22nd Feb 2010 my details of DOB, address change and payment of Rs.20000/- (Twenty Thousand Rupees only) are not acknowledged. I don’t now where the funds are but I am making interest payment on my credit card through which I made the payment.

I had taken this issue with CEO of the company, Mr. Rajesh Sud. Nither he nor his office does not have the basic courtesy to reply to the customer mail. I have written three mails and I have not received a reply from them till date.

i don't have any company — change my Date of Birth

I applied for passport on[protected] my application no is HYD-Z001363.It is expected to be dispatch on 31st july 20009.I have check my passport status on net in that my Date of Birth has given wrong so i request u to correct my Date of Birth Thank You.

MAX NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE — they don't give my commision

Actually i was working with max new york life insurance company at a post of agen&advisor GO-14 which is in new friends colony there i have submitted a case of life maker premium my commission on it around 3200 rupees but when ask for commision to my sales manager he alway's ignore me and use abusive words towards me kindly grant me solve my problem

Max New York Life Insurance Company — Cheating The customers and No account for the premiums collected

This is to bring to your kind notic how this insurance company is cheating people and there is no response from any of the officals when the issue was reported and I have noticed a rude behaviour from their employees. below is the histroy of agony caused to me. and the mails I have returned to this company.

Please assist as I have still not received any revert and my amount is still not allocated to my policy. This an absolute cheating this insurance company is trying to do in Indian. Yesterday when I have called the customer care again these were my following experiences:

1.24/02/2010 - at 4:25 officer my Name: Mr. Akashy Sexana disconnected the life after listening my call without any valid reason.

2. 4:30 again I called and Offficer Mr. Gurmeet after listening to my query transferred my call to Mr. Kapil Bhasin (Floor Manager) who assured that he would be arranging a call back from his Manager Ms. Esha Chakraborthy with in 15 Mins who was busy at that time to talk with me. Till now and till date I have not received any call from her. This is what you call services in India.

3. at 5:30 I called by Astral Hights office at Banjar Hills at Hyd - Officer Ms. Indra who collected payment from answered my call very rudely at informed has no clue about the amount that she has collected and surprised me by reveling one more shocking news - that my policy was lapsed since two years and my earlier premium payments were not considered as payment however were considered as top up. which I was not aware since two years and she disconnected the line.

Please let me know whether this is not cheating and causing mental agony and harassment. And why the license of this company cant be seized and why cant this issue not be reported to US Federal.

Please assist my getting my money back with interest.

HOPE AT LEAST THIS COMPLAINT WILL MAKE ME SATISFIED.
POLICY NO:[protected] AND POLICY NO:[protected], WE PAID RS.23000/- FOR THE SECOND POLICY WHAT WE HAVE TAKEN AND WE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM MAX STATING THAT THE SURRENDER AMOUNT OF RS.6757.90 WILL BE SENT TO YOU WITHIN A WEEK, BUT WHEN I ASK THE AGENT HE IS TELLING THAT THE AMOUNT IS NOT RS 6757.90 BUT IT IS ONLY 2000, THEN I ASKED HIM TO SENT THAT AMOUNT ATLEAST AND TILL NOW NOTHING HAD HAPPENED.
I DNT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING AND FOR SUCH A SIMPLE PROCESS THEY ARE DOING LIKE THAT.
I NEED THE SOLUTION FOR IT IMMDLY
Hi,

Just wanted to help you in this matter as i had worked with max earlier & i know some processes.

1) Agent commision is a part of customer declaration. It is agreement between company & agent only as you are having an agreement with Max. Also commision works like wages per policy for agent which is all across industry. Since you were agreed by the time of buying policy to pay some premium amount with charges history mentioned in your policy pack you received within 15 days. If you were not satisfied with charges than you could have cancelled your policy within 15 days free of cost. Also would like to inform you this facility was started by Max only there after it was become mandatory for across industry after IRDA intervention.

2) I think there is process of giving acceptance of receipt of any customer complaint received in written. I hope you must have received it. You can attach the same with your next complaint for more strict action against the persons who have not actioned on your request.

3) Premium received in branch must have acknowledged by giving premium receipt. I m sure that must have given to you or branch exec must have given you, photostat of your given cheque as proof in case systems down.

4) It is across the industry, if you not pay your premium after 180 days of your due date than you have to give Health declaration form. Reason for taking this is to get confirmation from customer that you are fit & fine as earlier & not undergone with any serious treatment during policy lapsation period. Also would like to inform you that max is the only company acorss industry who does not charge to reinstate any policy under any lapse duration. Whereas all other companies charge some amount to get your policy re-activate. I think after knowing this fact you might take sigh of relief that you are not going to pay any extra amount.

5) for information regarding premium & due date is company policy & i think you need to recheck your communication address or contact number in case you are not receiving any communication from company.

Although some error happens while facing huge volumes but this can be corrected as this is company error.

Would suggest you to visit once again in any branch of hyderabad & contact Mr. Naveen G Kumar (Head-Operations). Last time he was taking care of entire hyderabad operation when i was there in company.

I hope this can resolve you complaint against the company.
