Max Newyork Insurance — Poor Customer Care

I had taken my retirement policy and completely guided wrongly by the agent as well as the Max Life people and lost huge sum of my savings to them.

Also they couldnt resolve my change request for more than a year. I paid deligently for 4 years and requested them to change my bonus option to adjust with premium instead of paid up addition for the future years. They couldnt do this for more than a year and every time they took a complaint and without doing anything, simply close my request abruptly..

I had spent lot of my time in chasing and calling their customer care, but couldnt get any result.

So finally decided to surrender my policy and get back my investment. It was very shocking to me that they will be able to return me only less than 30% of the total amount which I paid for the last 4 years. I had paid them around Rs. 2.4 Lakh and getting back just Rs. 65000.. Really they do day light robbery and worst customer responsiveness.
