We had bought a limited usage service package from Monsterindia.com for a period of 1 year starting from March 2008 to Feb 2009 where we were promised for providing the following by monster in a written email:
- 25, 000 Email Invetory
- 3000 CV views
- 100 Job Postings
In month of October they internally changed the package where they mentioned that they will provide only 5000 email inventory every month from Oct 2008 i.e. only 20% of what they had committed earlier. We refused that we wont accept and asked that the, for the following option
- Either give us 25, 000 Email invetor that was commited or
- Refund our money back
It took them 24 days to tell us that they will not be able to increase the inventory. In this period of 24 days we had called them more then 35 times and sent 8 emails but there was hardly any response by emails or to our calls. Every person in the company said that we will look into the matter but after that no one wil call or follow up. At last they said that they will return the money and thus deactivated the account on 25th Oct.
We received a refund cheque only for a period of 4 months rather then 5 months. Their answer to remianing 1 month was that our account was deactivated on 25th and thus login was available for the use.
However when they have changed their services in between of the term then they shall return the money for the cvomplete remianing period and why shall we care when they deactivate the account.
There has been many such cases that came across us after we faced this problem who have suffered from cuh problems with Monster India.com.
