[Resolved]  Moserbaer — Picture Display problem

Description: My Moser Baer Portable DVD Player (Model No :MBI PDVD 716W) has malfunctioned Twice within the warranty period.

Problem : It's screen starts flickering at random intervals, and at times goes completely white and nothing is visible on the screen. At certain times even Moser Baer display also goes completely white. This problem is intermittent and occurs at frequent intervals. Sometimes DVD player runs fine and sometimes screen problem prolongs till 3-4 days, and then gets fine itself. This is really irritating.

Poor Response of Service : The above mentioned picture problem has occurred twice within the warranty. The first occurrence was on around 25th June 2011, and service centre has returned me the product on around 07th July 2011. Then just after 3 days, the same picture problem has reoccurred and then again I gave the product to Service centre on 12th July 2011 (Job No: [protected]), and they have returned me on 18th July 2011, mentioning that the same problem will not occur again, as they have changed the entire PCB (internal circuit) now. The sad thing is even after their commitment, the same problem has re-arised from 29 July 2011 onwards.


Resolution : It's my request to the company to issue me a new product or refund me the amount of the product (Scanned copy of Bill attached), as the service centre is incapable of resolving the problem, and same problem is occurring even after frequent visits to service centre. I am not at all satisfied with the response of service centre. (Service centre copy attached)

Warranty Expiry Date : 15/07/2011. The product has given the same problem twice within warranty period, and Moser Baer has not taken care of this product within warranty, and has provided me back the faulty product each time from the service centre. Again the same picture problem is occurring now, and now I want the replacement of product or refund of at least Billed amount (attached).
