[Resolved] MPEB — Electricity Bill/Low Voltage/Voltage Fluctuation
I am quite surprised to receive such a heavy bill for domestic power consumed by me during the last month. It was just not possible for me to have used so much of power during this period as my mom was out of station and we did not use AC for the whole month. I suspect that our meter is not functioning properly and is moving fast. Ever since we have taken a 3 phase connection (last year because of AC) we are getting a heavy bill even with the same usage pattern. The problem of low voltage and voltage fluctuation for which we took a 3 phase and increased our load from 2KW to 10 KW is as it is. It is amazing when you spend a lot of money and the problem is not sorted out. Our local electrician told that even 5KW was enough for the small family like yours (we are 4 people at home). But last year MPEB guys came and told to increase our load to 10 KW and threatened to take legal action against us. We increased our load but nothing happened. No voltage problem solved. AC does not work in the night.
In brief, i want to launch complaint for 3 things:
1. I want my meter checked, if it is functioning properly or not.
2. I want to question MPEB for giving me wrong suggestion to increase load to 10 KW, whearas 5KW would do.
3. When I have increased the load, why is the problem not solved? I want a solution for low voltage and voltage fluctuation problem ASAP.
Please look into the problem ASAP and oblige.
