i have purchased different value NSC from rail ganj kanpur post office. but at the time of maturity i am in surat, so i have given an application with supporting of address proof, bank pass book & NSC zerox on 24 sept 2012, but till date nothing has done. i again given a reminder today at navyug college post office, rander road surat branch. the post master said he only can forward the application to kanpur concerned post office & called me to come after 15 days.
