I have made fixed deposit of Rs 2 lacs in Bank of India and i do not have a saving account in this bank. After maturity of my F.D. local bank insisted me for opening
a saving account for which i refuse since i have saving account in SBI.
Bank of India branch refused to pay me the full F.D. maturity amount And deducted
Rs. 750/- towards local cheque payment. I protested and told bank manager that It's bank duty to make payment of my F.D.maturity amount. how they make it is their problem but they can not deduct commision from my maturity amount. CAN I GET
BACK MY HARD EARN MONEY BACK WHICH IS DEDUCTED. I am a retired person.

Nationalised Banks — ATM

I have withdrawn Rs.10000/-from ATM of South Indian Bank, L.B.Nagar Hyderabad on 1.4.2010 at about 6.40 AM. When I tried for withdrawal of another 10000/- immediatly from same ATM, the processing took long time and finally the reply on the screen was"time out". Neither any amount nor any transaction slip was received. However when I checked my balance with ATM/SBI, I was shocked to see that an amount of Rs.20000/-was debited from my account instead of Rs,10000/-. My A/c no. is [protected]/SBI/PBB/Chaitanyapuri/Hyderabad/bank code04354.
I have lodged a written complaint on 3.4.2010 with the same Bank. Till date no reply. Kindly advice recredit of rs.10000/-to my account at the earliest.
