We wanted internet Wi-Fi connection at our above mentioned premises for office use. For that we have contacted Mr. Chirag Vegda from NEON BROADBAND. His addresses are as below..

On 19, November we have received an email from NEON BROADBAND. In that email they have informed us that their engineers have checked our premises and connectivity is feasible and they will provide us Wi-Fi connectivity.

On 21 November 2008, We have received an email form NEON BROADBAND to prepare PO and issue cheque. We have given him the PO and cheque of 33708 Rs as he required. After getting the PO and cheque, NEON BROADBAND has tried to give us internet Wi-Fi connectivity but unfortunately they couldn't. Many time they have tried but they failed to give us connectivity because of some technical problem and whatever technical problem was there, they couldn't get rectified and we didn't get internet connection. Than we have got another internet lines from Reliance. And we asked NEON BROADBAND that if you (NEON BROADBAND) are not able to give us connectivity than return our money. Since than we are following up with Mr. Chirag Vegda CEO of NEON BROADBAND and Mr. Devang Prajapati, Corporate Sales Manager from NEON BROADBAND to get back our money. But these people are not listening and not willing to return our money. Please look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

To all those people who have been cheated/misled/disrespected by neon broadband &/or its employees, especially Shri. Chirag Vegda, I would like to inform its payback time. I am initiating legal proceedings against Neon Broadband & assure everybody who is not satisfied with their service that I would take up their case for free and try to get you as much heavy compensation as is legally possible. I would require your signature just once in the petition against him/them. I assure you need not waste your time, energy, money in the legal proceedings. I shall take care of all the rest.Please contact me for all future proceedings.Lets bring him to justice.

Wifi Internet Connection — Money Refund

This is kishore from Hyderabad.
I have requested for new reliance wifi internet connection. The service provider agent has charged Rs. 2130/-. But due to unavialability of signal the service provider has rejected the connection. But they has not credited back the above amount. I was trying to call the agent and he is not picking up the call which is very bad. His name is Satyanarayana( he told me that not sure about exact name) and his mobile number : +91 [protected]. I am requesting you to take some corrective action. So that some body else will not be cheated like me.

is our first customer whose connectivity went into non feasibility on wireless and the connectivity got delayed, then we offered them connectivity on fibre optic, but customer refused the service, and told for refund of the connectivity but its not possible as per our company norms, as we had procured devices worth 45, 000 for customer connectivity, since then customer is blackmailing us by calling from cops of Kashimira police station and asking for refund in illegal way by his political reference .

I have the similar problem as above. Chirag contacted us to put broadband at Bhakti Park Wadala. The took a cheque of Rs 4500 on Nov 2008. However, the never put the connection. Its been six months and they still havent refunded the money. Please help
the customer was never at home except sundays for installation, we did free installation for the customer, after the wiring was done, the customer was also given wifi router and activation was pending, and then customer she doesnt want as she have taken MTNL as cheaper option, we told we can refund 3000 only the customer returns the router, and the customer has not returned the router, and also the wiring cost had been added up as the customer had done two wiring free of cost worth 9000 in two flats .
I have a similar problem i contacted NEON to set up a connection at my place i selected 1mbps speed they told me that the payment must be made for 6 months minimum.I paid them by cheque in a few days after that they dint seem to call back as to when they would do the installation.I called them regularly as i had made my payment, they finally turned up few days later and set up a device.As i was getting only 384kbps speed but i paid for 1mbps speed, i contacted them and they told me they had put a 512kbps device by mistake. I contacted them and told them to change it immediately they said it will take 3-4 days but they dint turn up in a week's time. Finally they came and changed the device but i am still getting 384kbps speed. I contacted Mr.Chirag and he kept giving these fake promises that his people will be coming today and so on.I agree that i was not available at home as i used to come only by 5 p.m but when i made the payment they told me that they dint have a problem.I called Mr. Chirag and fixed a day where i was at home in the morning and he said he himself will be coming to check but he dint turn up.
Its been 3 weeks till now and no one has visited my place.
hey guys my problem is solved they came and fixed the net and i am getting full speed.
I selected 1mbps speed than later due to reducing price for net connection, he converted my 1mbps to 2mbps i got full speed for few days.past 3 weeks continously i have been getting lesser and lesser speed every time i try to download something.whenever i call him he says he hasnt checked in for months.now i m getting around 1mbps and sometimes even lesser speed.please help, chirag is not taking action at all.i have been calling him but still he is not taking any steps to make my connections stable.Even in worst case 2mbps speed would reduce to 1.8-1.5mbps.It is very wrong to take people's money and not treating them with respect and lying to them often.
please make my speed for downloading stable.

sahil mehta is using 2mbps internet connection and has paid for 1mbps and we had given complimentary trial of 2mbps which the money isnt paid to company, and when speed fluctuates sahil just complains, and sahil wants dedicated speed in price of broadband which isnt possible to deliver that is 1:1 .

we will send your CAF (customer application form ) photocopy duly signed by mr bhupendra and the entire subcription details which states you have subcribed for 1mbps plan, today itself .
As per our relation with mr Bhupendra we have given 2mbps plan on 1mbps subcription without charging you any extra and also we have given you 2 free wifi routers as well .

My name is Terry Fernandes residing in poisar, kandivli(w).
Chiraag vegda promises a lot but fails to deliver. He is failing everytime to give an internet connection. I have told him many times to return my money if he cannot manage to provide the connection. Every time he sets up the internet it fails. Today i have no internet at all and if i try to call to ask my money he and his team do not answer my calls. He says that he has put devices which cost alot of monry. The device he set up last hardly costs 3000 rs and he tells me it is worth 21000 rs.


I want atleast 8000 rs back out of the 10300 i paid for your services. I managed to get only 2 months of proper service from march 2010 till today.
NEON Broadband is the biggest frauds i have seen in the internet service provider. I have paid them 1 year full advance payment in the month of May 2010 (51K - INR) and till date i have not got internet connection nor my money back nor my SLA.
NEON BROADBAND are thieves. Dont trust them. They say something and do something.
Neon Broadband is the biggest fraud company i have ever come across. They take money in advance and dupe the innocent people who keep on following up with them for the internet connection which never happens. I request the consumer complaints forum to take action against this company at the earliest.

After the complaint made by me, Neon Broadband has looked in to the matter and they have promised me to give a better service and UN-interpated internet connection in the future. Considering this I withdraw my complaint with immediate effect.

I have got a new broadband connection with unlimited access from Neon Broadband about a week ago. Since then I have had to call them almost every day because the connection dropped on and off several times.

After several calls they came in and at first said that since I have a wired connection I should not move around my laptop as then the connection drops - I find this extremely sketchy - I have used ethernet cables all my life and never had this issue. They finally gave me a new ethernet cable and charged me an additional Rs. 150 for it.

Since then the connection is fine (dropped only twice in the last days instead of being down all the time) but now they have blocked access to the websites that I log into work (morganstanley.com) as well as one another website that I use. I find this extremely suspect and totally agree with the above customers' dissatisfaction. The authorities should look into this and take action so that new and existing customers are not defrauded like this.

The flaky internet connection problem has been fixed.

It seems the blocked sites were because of some router problems not caused by Neon Broadband - they contacted the relevant authorities and got it addressed and the service was restored.

Considering the above I withdraw the complaint with immediate effect.
Service is poor, wi-fi skill level is low, with many outages. There is truth in the above complaints - I should have heeded them. Refuse to make any advance payment and ask for a bill. Ask to speak to a satisfied customer in your locality before you sign.
