i had purchased the newly launched Nokia 2690 handset in July10 from Mobile Store Powai, Mumbai , this phone was wet in the monsoon conditions of Mumbai & is un-operational since last 2 days, i had shown it to Powai store who guided to Nokia centre at Ghatkopar W , Mumbai.
The Ghatkopar store rejected my complaint stating that the phone has been tampered with & they cannot register my complaint, which was lodged in their records on 26th aug 12 noon. I even advised them to repair the same & i was willing to bear the necessary chgs for same, however they did not accept & returned the phone back to me. This mobile was opened upon which is quiet natural when it gets wet & i waited for a day or so for it to dry up 'cause sometimes as per experience mobiles do start after drying.
I want to mention that the mobile is under waranty period of 1 year (purchased just a month ago) yet Nokia has refused to attend to my complaint (also i was willing to bear the expences which is not the practise under warranty period), Details of my purchase can be provided for verification on request, Was this information helpful? |
