[Resolved]  Nokia 3500 Classic — poor nokia care

Sir,
I am not satisfied with the service provided by Sector 14 Nokia care at Gurgaon. Nobody knows any technical things. As far as technical konwledge is concernced they are ZERO.

Always they say we have to keep my phone for repair for at least 15 days. Everything related to Nokia handsets should be available at ur Nokia care.

even after 15 days they dont forward the required equipment to the concerened office for repair or exchange as it happened with me regarding my headset...

Furthermore, my ringer and speaker phone are not working properly, they are not able to repair or exchange it...

Hi,
I bought the nokia 3500 classic from nokia dealer but, the cell phone was getting hang and not charge successfully and switched off but any time it charge o.k., i went to nokia service centre they said your charger or battery fault but its both are o.k., they also check all parts all are o.k. but problem not solve now a day my cellphone under warranty period when I contact nokia servicing center they replied me my phone is ok . but doesn't happen. Well I was really shocked.So, when I went there still my problem is same and also they said that they can't repaired.
Therefore, I would like to say you that please kindly look this matter seriously... and hope you will solve very soon...!!!

I got a new Nokia 3500 C mobile from "The Mobile Store" situated on Airport road in bangalore(Shop No. 14 & 15, Anjaneya complex municipal airport road).

It showed to be faulty. I went to the shop to show them that the phone is displaying "contact service" on it. It was not detecting the sim also. They asked me to contact the nokia service center as it has just been a week since I got the mobile and it was well under warranty.

I had submitted the mobile at the nearest nokia service center which was called Edge Com located in New Thippasandra, HAL 3rd stage, Indiranagar, bangalore. They have taken my mobile for servicing with the complaint..

1) Mobile not switching on
2) Displaying "contact service" on the screen

Two disjoint complaints!!! and i just signed in it when i was told that my complaint has anyways been registered. I was told to come back in 2 days. I left my mobile there because i had no choice. Its a new mobile for which i have not even explored all the options completely and within a week i had to leave it all alone at the service center. After two days, i rang them up and went there when i was told that my mobile servicing has been done.. I was startled when i saw a mobile in their hand with a broken LCD screen..and was told that it is my mobile.. "It is a hardware damage and wont come under warranty. We can try to do something if you pay for it" this is what i was told. I tried to tell them that i had given them my mobile in full condition and definitely i dont want to pay for their careless and reckless treatment of my mobile.

I told them how sure i was that neither my mobile had fallen down nor did i mishandle it at any point of time during its stint of 6 days with me. I explained them that they have to trust their customers. The reply i got was, 'you should also trust us'. I was completely disturbed by the whole conversation and told them that i am no more interested to carry on the conversation further with them and asked them to call the manager who was supposed to be in charge of that so called service center. He is at the head office(atleast that is what i was told). i was not prepared to leave the place without getting justice. I managed to get the mobile number of the manager and reported the whole incident to him.

He asked me to leave my mobile there and said that he would close the issue within 2 days. These people are so hostile that whenever i call them up and ask the status, they say- 'its done.. please come and collect it today". And when i go there with a lot of hope, they make me wait for about an hour and finally say that its not done!! I dont know if this is some cheap trick which they play to make sure that there are always atleast some people in their center.

After repeated tireless attempts, finally they informed me that after fixing up the new LCD also, the initial problem for which i had actually given my mobile for, is not rectified. They had no expertise to solve it and hence they would request for the replacement.. how long would it take?? i was told that it would take not more than 12 working days!!

I finally got it back after 40 long days(the actual service time is 15 days as per what I was told by them) and when I got it back, I realized that the mobile is not detecting the memory card and the camera is not working!! I had visited them for a minimum of 5 times during this time when they picked my call and said that it is done.

Can you please assist me what I can do about this? Please let me know what other information is required.

nokia is providing the worst service, the servicecenter is located in kolkata (howrah) vision care,
3 months before they have taken my mobile at tht time it was in waranty, there was a issue with the camera.after 2 weeks they informed tht the waranty is void, when i had gone to receive my mobile the baattery contacts were broken it was not powering on now .
till now they have no idea when i m getting back my mobile in working condition, even the service center tech says tht the mobile was working. they have around 10 to 15 cases like me where the mobile was deposited to them in working condition but nokia had repaired it in such a way tht the mobile does`nt even power on,
they have made it a trend to make the waranty void of the custmers and for repairing it they take 4 to 5 months.this is how they provide service in kolkata
