Nokia 5230 — Non functioning of memory card

Dear Sir,


I have purchased the mobile handset model no.Nokia 5230 from Trinentra Communication ( NPD) a Nokia Priority Shop at Fun Republic Mall, Gomtinagar, Lucknow vide invoice no 071 dated 11.04.2010. I have also purchased 2 GB Memory card make Kingson from the said shop for Rs.400/ only ( Please it may be noted that the cost of same from outside is Rs.290/ with warrant card and cash memo) and no cash memo has been given by the concerned and I have accepted on face value of Nokia Priority.

The memory card was loaded with audio & video songs etc by the concerned but just after 01 day it came to my notice that the set is not working properly and operation is hanging. I again rushed to shop and requested to solve the issue and they have removed the memory card and formatted the mobile assuming that the set was infected by virus and recommended to format the memory card at my end which was done at my end resulting in non functioning of memory card.

I again rushed to shop and informed the current problem but I was shocked to have a improper reply by the concerned that it can not be replaced/changed and the non functioning of card is due to mishandling at my end.

My basic question/ complaint is only-

01. Who is responsible for not providing cash memo to customer?
02. The memory card was loaded with data by centre which later on requires formatting of set also. If Computer system of centre was virus protected then what was the probable reason for formatting the set as well as card. If system was not virus protected then why they have loaded it.
03. Advise the price of memory card-Kington 2 GB. If the cost charged by shop is not correct then who is responsible.

I request you to look into matter and redress my grievances
