Nokia 5610 Music Express — Four problems occurred in a row within two months of purchase

Hi, I would like to thank you and your team for such initiative, which you have taken in the interest of costumers. I am also a victim of NOKIA handset and its after sale service.

Here is the detail about my case:

I bought a new 5610 Nokia Express Music HandSet (IMEI: [protected]) from Prit 'n Mit Communication, a NOKIA dealer in Kalyani Nagar PUNE. After a week o[censored]sage, it gave me first trouble when the camera module of this cellphone loses it's quality. I went to Akshay Telecom, Shivajinagar for repair. They took my handset and returned it after 15 days. Again after 2 days o[censored]sage, the display went off. I again went to Akshay Telecom, and they took my handset and returned it to me after 8 days. Within a month of purchase, my handset got repaired twice. But this is not the end. I recently discovered that the repair guys have left their fingerprint under the display panel and it's completely visible from outside. I was thinking to bring it back, then all of a sudden the Dedicated Music Slider Key broke. I went to Akshay Telecom and talked to nokia itself regarding this problem but didn't get any satisfactory answer. Since yesterday, the phone is getting off continuosly. I am really fed up with this handset and my experience with this handset. Once I asked about a replacement, and the nokia guys told me that it could be replaced only in extreme conditions. I am asking what could be more extreme than this condition? Four problems occurred in a row within two months of purchase. What more they want? A completely broken piece of it?

Any suggestions what to do. I really have lost my faith in Nokia and its goodwill in the market. I want a complete replacement of this handset.

i was going to try on a secruity code for my mobile then when i was writting the secuirity codethey told me CODE ERROR i was trying it over and over again till they told me to enter PUK code and i entered it then they told me to enter NEW PIN code so i did the next step was Verify PIN code i wrote the same code then my SIM card got rejected

hey, me too a user of 5610 for the last 3 months...
i am also having the issue of the phone shutting off suddenly, esp when i receive calls!!
it has been very appaling to hear the service provided for u. I never had the time to take it to the service station.
what is the reaosn for this shtting down? is it some software error or a hardware problem?? Cn we take it up with nokia together??
I think we can shatter the prospecive buyers o this phone, if the service is so appaling!!

hey...me too the user of nokia 5610...my self do suffer from the same problem...it get switched off automatically...especially while recievin calls...if such a phone with simple software gets hang up so frequently wat bout the other phones then...!!!

Nokia 5610 Music Express — Pathetic response from Customer care Executive @ Hubli branch

Dear Sir,

As i purchased my Nokia 5610 set 6 months ago and past week slide buttons are not operating properly, and i have a warranty card up to mid of next year but customer care excutive clearly declined to consider this complaint under warranty and asking for 1850/- as repairing cost.

I walked in to the Nokia care centre, IT Park HUBLI, KARNATAKA and interacted with Miss. Shilpa CSE, There is a way to communicate being an executive in pleasing way. She is a person not listening properly and juddging by herself in her own ways. I have received pathetic response and i am helpless. Please assure your good service.

I have expressed my grief! Please help me out!

Nokia 5610 Music Express — Worst Product & Service

I got a Nokia 5610 Music Express on Aug 2 2008 and it gave me problems by Aug End. From Sep 1st week till today, the mobile phone has been serviced 3 times. The result, the Problem still exists. Out of the 3 months, the phone was with Nokia care for 2 months.

The team cant just fix the problem but cant even recognize the problem. They do not give the contact number of their heads nor take any issue seriously.

My 12000/- Rs is a full waste.!!! I will never get Nokia again..

I am Aman an IT engineer nd Now doing MBA frm Symbiosis .I bought Nokia-Express -5610 3 months back. i know the fact tht that there is some Manufacturing Problem in THIS set ...becaue i kow 3 persons who bought this set and found problem in the working of set .and suggested me not to buy this set.but i bought this set...nd my bad days started .i spend 13, 0000 Rs fr this SET..and wht i get a defective piece of Nokia Mobile set.the image which is in my mind for nokia ia now completely vanish ..after few days set turn auto restart ...4-5 days in a day.. thought it is small problem ..than after 1 month 1 day screen gone...colors gone..i took ths to service center they said we dont hav screen come later on...but my luck is very bad 2 days befor my set fel down nd sm part of screen broken down...nw service center people said ..nw we dont have ny warrenty o[censored]r mobile ...wht the [censored].
never buy nikia set...they are selling Defective sets to customers ...wheather they r known to ths fact or not ...one side they r saying our processes r 6-sigma ...wht ind of 6-sigma processes u r talking Nokia ...making fool to ur cusomer ...ur 50 % sets of Nokia -express -musi are defective...check them and test them properly...either u will loss ur brand loyality slowly slowly...
My advice, get away from Nokia as afar as you can inform all your friends and family about the problem if you have complain column in your local newspaper share the problem let everyone know and make sure you keep the original reciept and warranty for anyone who might want to confirm from you.
Am going to my supplier this evening and you will get feedback of the story they will come up with
Even i am facing the same problem .when i was using the camera, the phone got hand up and it got switched off automatically . please dont buy nokia music express...
