I am Maneet Aneja. This is regarding My complaint against Nokia/Nokia Service center, by showing irresponsibility on there new launched phone Nokia Lumia 520.
They are not providing solution for the access heating issue persist in phone from the day one and trying to harass and clearly saying its your wish whether you wish to bring back this phone with the heating issue or not as per them they have compared the phone with another nokia 520 so they declared this issue is in all of the devices
in this series (ie Nokia Lumia 520).So they cant do anything
Its been 2 month when i bought this phone and i could not use this phone yet properly. I just wasted 10,000 on it so please help me
to get out of this hell.
Here is the detail below :
I have bought a Nokia Lumia 520 in May 2013.
With in 5-7 days of buying i realized there is a heating issue with
the phone when i just use 3G on it for just 5 minutes and in between
if i use phone for calling i felt a high heating winch is really
unbearable for a human ears while talking on phone.
Then i went to Nokia Service center situated at HIG 16 , Vaishali Sector-4
(Named with Gupta associate). Then they have updated the software and
said phone is working fine now. Then i started using at home for the
same day i found the same issue were still there. Few days days later
i got time to Visit services again they said they don't have the
solution so cant do anything talk to customer care. then after showing
them demo and logged a complaint on Nokia customer care number. They
have given me the insularity that they will contact me soon.
Then i got call from customer and they asked me to submit the phone to
same service center i did the same and submitted the phone to service
center on 15 June and submitted the phone they have given me the date
> of returning the device back with the solution till 24 June but i
received the call from them on 28 June and when i went the service
center they said my phone is swapped and stamped the new IMEI number
on my original bill. But when i just started configuring my Hotmail to
sync my contacts using 3G connection found the same heating issue
within 5 minutes again. Then they said this issue with every Nokiia
Lumia 520 so you have to suffer with the phone heating too. We can not
do anything after forcing them that i can not take the phone back in then they said we can only send the phone to service center again now after one week again keeping the phone with them they finally declared, we cant do anything in this phone now so its my wish whether i want to bring back or not. But they are not ready to give me this communication in written.
Well i don't know till when i have to suffer with the phone. I am feeling like a fooled consumer who cant do anything just wasted money with no arms to fight
