[Resolved]  Nokia — Faulty Mobile Phone

I had been planning to buy the E series phone and waiting for the much awaited E 72 and was lucky enough also to buy it on 30th Nov, 2009, being one of the first customers in India and New delhi to have bought it but to my dismay the product has been a mere headache for me right from Day 1. I have called up Nokia Careline numerous times and done whatever they have told me to do, formatted the phone numerous times, updated software, investing about 1-2 hours daily on doing these troubleshooting things and still its turning out to be a nightmare. I went to the Nokia Service Centre to get the phone checked but they told me that i have to leave behind the phone for testing, which i dont find comfortable as its a brand new phone and why should I get it repaired or tested when I have invested Rs. 21000/- and being a Nokia Customer i deserve a replacement. No one would ever wish that he buys a new thing, spends hours on troubleshooting and at the end gets it repaired. It always pinches in the customers mind and I have personnaly had such experiences being from the Customer Services Industry, as the customer is never happy.



Now to sum up some of the few problems the phone is facing :

1) From Day 1 phone hangs up of the software starts doing stupid things.
2) The phone gets extremely hot sometimes and it can be felt when held in the palm, which seems like a product safety issue.
3) While transferring data through bluetooth, data transfer hangs in between.
4) The network drops and to again get the network i have to reboot the phone, which cannot be a operator issue as told to me, as the same network works on the phone of the person sitting next to me.
4) The most interesting incident has been that i was asking my mother to take my picture yesterday, as she was happy to see a new nokia coming in the house, after she clicked my picture the touchpad stopped working and now it is tiresome to work on the phone. My mother felt very bad and she was not happy to see such quality of product.The touchpad is still non functional.
5) Yahoo mail dosent get configured on it and also Nokia messaging dosent work

Hello I am ashutosh nema i have nokia 5800.
since 1 month i am facing blank screen problem while using its camera.
Twice i had given my handset to nokia care.
They had kept my handset for one weak and return it back as it is.
Still the problem is the.
I had not expected such kind of services from such a big brand name.
Kindly rectify the problem or replace it.
As it is become a pain for me.
