Nokia - One of the most trusted brands in India. Whenever an Individual thinks of purchasing any mobile phone in India : NOKIA is the first and only brand. Out of the 10 individuals 8 would prefer to use Nokia. As an individual when we buy high end mobile phone from Nokia, we have our trust in the brand and same is perceived to be delivered by the company both in terms of after sales service and products.

As an individual when I purchased my Nokia Handset almost 2 years back, I also thought of the same. But I was actually wrong. In the last 2 years the company has completely betrayed my trust. After purchasing the handset within one year of the warranty period my handset was submitted twice and finally a new handset was replaced. i thought the company is taking care of me, I was completely wrong. Now its not even 1 year the mobile is again showing one or the other problem.

On 22nd Mar 2010, I had submitted my mobile phone to Nokia Care (TELECONNECT, BBSR) vide Job Sheet Number[protected]/100322/52, their was a problem in the handset as the display was not working and both answer and receive key was not working. The Care took 10 days and handed over the set to me on 2nd April 2010, it was told to me that "Whole of the KEY MAT is not working and they replaced it ". An amount of Rs. 1700 was charged for it. I was bit irritated thinking a new mobile handset been replaced again creating a problem. But I thought not an issue, their might be some serious problem. Actually I was totally wrong, again the same problem re instated within 10 days and I had to submit my handset on 10th April 2010. The same was handed over to me on 20th April 2010 after lot of regular follow up stating, their is no problem in it and our service engineer has personally checked. But everything was wrong, How can the same problem occur again, either the engineer was not able to rectify the problem on first instance or else they had just charged me Rs. 1700 vide Invoice No. 60 dated 02.04.2010 by replacing it without any purpose.

I think I was absolutely correct the problem has reinstated once again and now my mobile handset is once again creating the same problem. Tomorrow once again I am going to submit my handset to the Nokia Care hoping for the best. I have already been physically, mentally and financially humiliated. For one small problem I had to go 4 times to Bhubaneshwar from Puri (More than 60 kms ) to take my handset and to my surprise the problem still persists.

I would like to add one more thing, If their is some serious problem in the handset been launched by the company in this particular series or the lot manufactured than why not the company either goes for a replacement to all the handsets to their customers. I am not the only one suffering from some or the other problem in N78 series, their are other n number of other consumers suffering from the same. The same can even be confirmed by a survey or handsets been submitted for some problem in the Nokia Care (As the details been available with you)

I was an avid user of nokia phone eversince they launched d 3310........
however when i bought my nokia n79 i realized how poor nokia care service is..
I have submitted my handsets 4 times already.Even today its with nokia care(its been a week already).
Each time they send it delhi for repairs and the repairs go on for atleast 1 week.
To make matters they dont even check if the phone is working or not.
Once they called me up after a week to tell me phone is working now.....i reached there to learn my phon was still giving the same problem.......And Again they sent it off to delhi.
This is last Nokia poduct i am gonna ever buy.....Sony on the other hand has better looking,cheaper handsets,and the new handets even run on a symbian platform....
Also the worst part about nokia care is that each time my phone comes back a new problem arises.
Nokia Care services are by far the worst amongst all the other mobile companies,
The quality of the build is getting worst each day.
i have by far faced the following problems with my nokia n79-

1)Bluetooth not working (had the same problem 1 time)

2)vibrator not working (had the same problem 3 times)

3)radio not working (had the same problem 1 time)

4)Phone goes on and off anytime in the day (still having the same problem )

5)wifi not working (had the same problem 3 times)

6) very slow processing speed , hangs most of the time.
i had given nokia5800 for servicing now also having same problem...before bluetooth was working, now its not working. then wat is the use of nokia cares...
