[Resolved] Nokia — Strange sound while connecting a call | |||
I had purchased a NOKIA C1-01 handset. Things were fine for just a week. After that I started having problems with my handset bearing IMEI NO:[protected]. There was some strange sound when I connect an incoming call. But it was not for all incoming calls. I approached the dealer from whom I purhcased. I was told that there was some software problem and if is reset the issue will be solved. The problem continued. So I thought it would be ideal if I visit the NOKIA Care, who are said to be the authorised service centres. I told my problem, a compliant was logged, after servicing my handset was delivered stating that there was some dust collection, which was cleaned. The problem was not solved, so I revisited Nokia Care. This time they said the speaker was changed and was told that you will not have that strange sound. But to my surprise then I after I could hear no sound. When my mobile rings, only the screen will blink but no sound, the same with alarm, you were also not able to hear the person at the other end. Probably that's the real solution to my problem "All Sounds Silenced". Once again I visited hoping that this should be my last visit. The person on the desk was patient enough and regretted for their faulty service, but the core issue for which I stepped in first was not solved. You should also take note that each time you walk into Nokia Care, it takes close to 1 1/2 to 2 hours before you could walk out. Yesterday I had walked in again I was given a job seet number[protected]/110516/148 dated 16/05/2011, I was told that my handset will be kept under Observation for a day and the status will be communicated. I opted to take the Spare handset from Nokia care. If one had the opportunity to walk into Nokia Care, one would have noticed a box named "We Re-cycle" kept. You will be astonished to know how they re-cyle. The handset that was provided to me as spare was so clean. It was so clean that the number panel was totally wiped of. There was no charger provided and the charger of my mobile was not compatible with the spare one. Probably no one had dropped a charger for "Re-cycle".
