My mobile phone bearing imei code [protected] was lost on 16th of january ,i tried to get help from my nearest nokia care using my imei number,but they said "presently that kind of facilities are not available here".Again i tried with my service provider(i.e. reliance) to let me know which sim was inserted right after my number(i.e. [protected]),but they said again "this kinda stuffs are not process-able",again i returned with my hope turned negative.
Is it really not possible to trace out my mobile phone using imei number?,at least the SIM inserted in it presently?.

I lost my Nokia Mobile model Nokia X6 on 13/07/2012 whose IMEI No. [protected] and I was using Vodafone Post Paid connection whose no. is [protected]. I blocked this Vodafone number on 14/07/2012 and ordered for a replacement SIM. I would request you to block the Nokia handset.
