[Resolved]  Nokia — Manufacturing Defect

I bought a C6 Nokia smartphone on 1st October 2011. I was facing some problems at the very inception of the usuage of the cell phone. At last i went to Nokia Care at Durgapur ( Firingi More ) to address the issue. The guys at the Care told me it would be charged Rs.1000/- & i agreed for the same. The very next day when i called them i was shocked to hear that the charges would be Rs.4000/- & i immediately told them to give my cell back. The next day when i went to Care for receiving my handset, to my utter astonishment & disgrace the cell was not even working as compared to earlier when i was able to talk,text & even click images.The phone was dead!!!!!! & the way those so called customer care executives behaved was something which i could not share in Public platform.

I just have 1 question. I went for Nokia ( my used to be trusted brand not anymore) & is this the treatment i am supposed to receive at their end??? Also if Nokia believes in selling such in built manufacturing defect products????

We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that I have purchased the above-noted set on dated 28.07.08 which is infested with certain technical problems with the purchasing date. The phone hangs three time after the purchasing. The first two time your service center has resolved the problem but the third time the same phone send to the banglore from your service center for the resolving the problem and I have got my mobile after the 42 days.
Now today again my mobile was hang. In the my phone manufacturing defect since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

Hi,

i have purchase a new nokia C3 Handset from Janak Puri, Distt Center NPD on 17th nov 2010 on 18th nov 2010 i found that this handset having a problem with audio recording, and it has a manufacturing defect. when we shot any video on a party place where some music play on d.j. and some noisy place, the vedio recording will do fine but audio recording the bad sound its like blurrrrrrrrrrr. i have show this problem to the dealer as well as the nokia service center but they can`t able to repair. they just said that you keep your mobile with you with same problem.. .....please help to replace this handset with other or return my mony back.

I am facing the problem on my phone since i bought the same on 12th October 2011, the seller asked me to contact the local Nokia Care center, i.e. in Mehsana (Classic Empire near shilpa garage, Mehsana). The people at nokia care center gave me an extra ridiculous service i have ever got.

Problem: When i shoot any video on my phone the mixed random colors appear on the screen and soon phone get switched off automatically.

I have visited to nokia care center Mehsana 8 to 10 times and they format my phone and update the software as well, more they kept my phone for 3 days at their office to repair the same.

still i am facing the same problem. Every time they kept my mobile ,I don’t know what they have done ? this is the fair and straight question i should ask you.

They asked me to change the memory card which i replaced at my own cost, but still the problem has not solved.

When i asked they told me that we have to send your phone to delhi at nokia service center, i agree and i wait for 12 days without getting any service instrument.

i am really fed up, as you may notice i have visited care center 8 to 10 times since last 45 days.

To resolve this matter I should ask you to arrange to replace my instrument straight away without any delays.
i hope i will get positive reply from your end.

I strongly recommend you to provide proper training to our local nokia care center's staff/ manager that how to serve customer.

As their sales rep Mr. Ravi spoke to me and started that in case there is any defect in the handset you kindly come immediately within48 hours to get it replaced. It is actually defective set and It is not working at all.

I am keeping this set as it is and waiting for the intervention of the Company.

I have bought a nokia handset (asha 200) on 14/4/2012 but after 2 months the phone used to hang automatically, key pad doesnot work properly. On first instance i gave d mobile to nokia care and they repaired it and gave back to me but after one day same problem arises. again i gave d set to nokia care on 30 august and they send the mobile to there service centre for repair. They returned me d set after 20 days saying it in all right bur again after 2 days same problem exists. Again i gave d set to nokia care on 20 september and they again send it to nokia service centre. After 15 days they returned d set saying it is ok now, but after one days same problem arises. Now on 24th october the nokia care staff took the cell assuring that they will send it to service centre and told me to inquire after 15 days.in between this i continuosly called to ur customer care no. [protected]. They are telling that the matter has been escalated but yet no solution has been gone.My recent job sheet no is[protected]/121025/2 and complaint no is 1-[protected]. I have been facing lots of problem for last 4 months. Kindly look over the matter on urgent basis.
