Passport — DOB Problem

Hello sir,

I wanted to apply for fresh passport. As per rule i need to submit the DOB certificate. The probelm is "My actual DOB and DOB in all my certificates" differ by 6months. this happened while admitting me to school. what is the procedure to get passport and how can I get Original DOB in my certificates.
