[Resolved] PCMC Rickshaw — Auto Rikshaw in PCMC

hi, I am staying in Pune PCMC, Wakad area since last 3 years. In entire PCMC auto rickshaw run on rates decided by area auto group. They don't run on meters. For a 2 km distance they are charging 40 Rs. From Wakad Naka to anywhere on Wakad Road, they ask for 40 rs. whereas on meter this shouldn’t cost more than 20 Rs. Why can't PCMC take any action on this and make mandate for meter usage in PCMC area? PCMC request to consider this. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

Dear Sir,

I am a residence of Secunderabad A.P. India

My office is at Tarnaka in Tara tycoon building. I come from Alwal by bike. Here i want to complaint that the road towards tarnaka through sangeet circle there is a treffice over flow of drynage past form 2months.

Its is very stinking because of that we cant even go that way and if the car people come that way they rush and move forward but at tha same time whole dirty water spills on us.

Its really horrible. Kindly try to fix that problem asap.

PCMC Rishaw-walas think it's okay to charge anything they want. And when you share rickshaw with other passengers rickshaw-walas don't think how many can fit in. Today in the sharing rickshaw from Wakad Phata to Datta Mandir the rickshawala took 8 passengers in a 3 seater rickshaw and when I asked about the safety he said, "I have a Bima and it covers me- I have 20 years experience driving rickshaw how can I go wrong while driving"- total 9 people including the driver in a 3 seater. It only costs about Rs.10 petrol/gas to travel the distance of 1 km and they make Rs. 80 at the cost of passengers' safety. This is not good. The rickshaw - wala asked me if I am new to the area. He further said, "I am born and raised here and I can do anything I want". How can someone do something that is so risky. Since people don't have any option they have to take these rickshaws invariably. JAAGO AAM AADMI JAAGO. Ek Aam Aadmi dusre Aam Aadmi se paise loot raha hai aur safety ka soch bhi nahi raha aur uspar dadagiri kar raha...kya hoga iss desh ka..God save this country...
