Mrs Anita of BHEL Bangalore has taken personal of Rs.1.5 lakhs during April 2004 (SB A/c No.[protected] & Loan A/c No.[protected]) at SBI Church Street Branch, Bangalore - 1 and for which I stood guarantor. Mrs Anita has stopped paying EMI since April 2005 onwards as she was transferred to BHEL NOIDA. Since April 2005 onwards I am regularly reminding the bank to initiate immediate action for recovery of loan, but bank is not taking any action in spite of my repeated emails, phone calls to the branch and LHO. Now Mrs Anita is retiring from the services of BHEL on[protected] and she do not have any other source of income for clearing the loan after her retirement. Bank is hereby requested to initiate immediate action for recovery of loan else I may be relieved from the obligation of guarantor. As SBI is showing its inefficiency towards recovery of loan which is outstanding from April 2005 onwards.Under the circumstances, and inefficiency of the bank, I ceased to be the guarantor and no legal action can be initiated against me for non clearing of the loan by the borrower. Due to banks mistake I may not be held responsible for loan recovery.
Kindly advise bank to take immediate action. I have given all details of Mrs Anita to the SBI / lho bANGALORE.
