On 17-AUG-2011 I received a call from number [protected], they told me they are from
PLAT-5 company and they are offering a free discount card on a promotional basis.For this I
do not have to pay a single rupees and but for this i need to register one of my credit
card.
I believed them at that moment at they send me to IVR system where I punched in my credit
card and cvv number. After 10 min of this incident i got shocked when I received a SMS that
an amount of RS 4964 has been deducted from my HDFC credit card account,immediately i
informed this incident to my bank and blocked my card.
After one day of this incident i had received a call from plat 5, i asked them to return my
payment but they told me that kit has already been sent to me at my mailing address and i
will be received the kit within 10-15 days.
But when i open the kit which i have received after a week i feel cheated as the products
inside the kit are useless. Price tag on sunglasses is 3999 and watch is 2999.But I don't
think so that the costs of both products are more than 300-400 rupees. Also the gift
vouchers and discount coupons are worthless.
After that i call them and ask to get my money back because the products they sent are
worthless for me.Tell-caller at other end asked me that our representative will call you
within 2-3 days.But now they are neither reachable nor can be contacted.
