[Resolved] Policy Bazaar — Selling your Mobile Numbers for Money | |||
I visited the website of Policy Bazaar to get some quotes for my Insurance renewal. They are clever by way of making the mobile number mandatory (code sent by sms) to get quotes. I thought I would get calls only from policy bazaar, which I could manage, but what happened is this. THEN, THEY SELL OUR NUMBERS TO THE INSURANCE COMPANIES AS LEADS. I got atleast 7 - 8 calls in one day from different insurance companies. THIS IS HIGHLY UNETHICAL - TO SELL PROSPECT DATA. It is ILLEGAL too. SOMEBODY NOTICE THIS AND STOP THEM FROM DOING IT FURTHER.
