Printer World — Samsung LCD monitor was not repaired and money is not being refunded

Printer World's services suck! I have already spoken to a customer service representative of Just Dial yesterday (Dec 29). Printer World didn't repair my Samsung LCD monitor well at all. They replaced a VGA/graphics card which didn't need replacing and told me it would take care of the problem of my screen going blank. They didn't rectify the problem the first time or the second time either.

Printer World's owner, Narandra Sharma, had at that (second) time told me he would refund the money if the problem still persisted and now he's not doing that and is coming up with excuses that his engineer now thinks the 'inverter' needs to be repaired and not the VGA card. I had asked this person (Narandra Sharma) to check the inverter in the first place - to see what is wrong and repair it and not just replace something that was working fine. I mean my graphics card was working fine..there was no problem with the screen's resolution. He led me to believe that the card was the problem and needed to be replaced. Now he's saying something else is the problem.

I had specifically told him to give me honest feedback and tell me if it couldn't be repaired because I was willing to buy a new monitor but he dishonestly did some repairs, which didn't need to be done and has not taken care of the problem. Yesterday, I told him to give me my refund back and he's not been in touch and he's told me that he can only give a warranty for the card and not the repairs! The man needs to have his brain repaired.

If the part he has replaced is the wrong one and therefore the monitor is still blanking out, then what has his new VGA card done for my monitor? I'm thinking of filing a police complaint against him.

I've called and written a review of this place on Justdial.com to delist him as I got his reference and contact numbers from their service. I had wanted the phone number of the authentic Samsung Service Centre and his was one among many numbers I had received. The others did not repair Samsung LCD monitors and only this guy told me he did that..and I can see how well he's done it.

Yesterday, when I called and made my complaint to Just Dial, I again asked for the Samsung Service Centre numbers and I got a complete different set of numbers, which I wished I had got then. Today, I called up the new number I got from Just Dial, and spoke to a technician at Samsung and I have this conversation recorded on my cellphone. He says, there is nothing called VGA or graphics card in a Samsung monitor but there is something called a VGA cord in the monitor which just costs Rs 350-400 and if the inverter needs to be repaired, it costs Rs 300 plus 10.3% service tax and the repairs will be done onsite itself.

Printer World took away my monitor twice and kept it for 2 weeks and charged me Rs 2,800. I have the bill with me with 6 months warranty written on it. The bill no is: 101 dated Rs Nov 28, 2009. Not only has he overcharged me, he's also not done the repairs.

I bought a new monitor yesterday (Dec 29) and have spoken to Sharma today to refund my money and take back the graphics card or whatever he claims to have installed - which was of no use anyway - and he's still being defiant and dishonest.

If you can pursue this matter with him and ask him to refund my money, I will take back this complaint and state that this matter has been sorted out amicably and honorably. But I don't think Mr Narandra Sharma understands the meaning of honour and honesty.

(See the picture of the screen this person has supposed to have repaired for me. It was taken on Dec 28 at 5.55 pm...less than a month after he's taken it twice for rectifying the very same problem. I also have this picture saved on my cellphone and therefore it has recorded the exact time and date.)

Here is a timeline to the saga of this monitor…

-Monitor returned for the first time on Nov 30
-Stopped working on Dec 4 and collected on Dec 5 again
-Returned on Dec 17 for the second time and it again gave problem immediately on Dec 18.
-Spoke to Narandra Sharma on Dec 19 and he says he’ll refund the money or as I suggested to him, will find me a second hand monitor in good condition. He says he’ll get in touch on Dec 21 (Monday) and does not do so.
- It works fine without interruption only for a week since being repaired – Dec 20-27.
- It conked out again on Dec 27 night and all of Dec 28.

Have bought a new monitor on Dec 29.

i am dheeraj . i have complain 5 times for my lcd samsung monitor, s repaire. still it is not repaired . i found the very -2 bad service given by samsung.my contact no.[protected], from haridwar uttrakhand. plz give me your senoir managrs /hod contact no. thank you.

samsung monitor — does not repair

I have samsung monitor (tft) which i purchased last year now i facing a picture qaulity problem in it
