[Resolved] Procter & Gamble — Extremely poor quality of Pampers
We sent the mail shown below to P&G on 1st Oct 2010, but there is no response from them yet [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected] froms uresh cherian <[protected]@gmail.com> tointouch.[protected]@pg.com dateFri, Oct 1, 2010 at 1:01 PM subjectExrtremely poor quality of Pampers Hi I had been trying +[protected] to lodge a complaint couple of times today but to my surprise the calls did not get answered for a long time (with only recorded voice coming in, asking me to hold on) We had been regularly procuring Pampers for our daughter's use. But recent experience with the quality has been pathetic. The packet that we bought recently from a shop in New Avadi Road, KIlpauk, Chennai (Medium, 6-11 kg) is below standards. Out of the 28 pads, we opened about 18 but had to scrap 4 pieces due to strap snapping The packet photos taken with mobile camera phone enclosed. This packet is kept at home for your inspection Please look into this and do the needful to prevent a regular user from switching brands immediately Regards Suresh T Cherian Plot No.5, Flat S-2, Water Works Avenue Aspiran Garden Kilpauk Chennai - 600 010 India Tel: +[protected]Cell), +[protected]Res) Was this information helpful?

Dear Suresh,
Even after a couple of years, the quality has not improved. We recently bought a packet of pampers diapers (9-14 Kgs, Large) and the quality was pathetic. We have been using this brand in the UK for the last couple of years and thought will continue this in India as well for our son, but guess that was not the right thing to do. We have had to throw around 5 pieces because the strap has snapped while trying to fit the diaper. I had sent a complaint mail to a different id ('[protected]@in.pgconsumers.com') but have not had any response so far. Let me send a mail to the same id that you had sent.
Thanks,
Srikrishna

We have somewhat the same experience. We use to procure the pampers for my daughter. We found that now the Large sized papers are not large enough to fit. Looks like medium size papmers coming in large size pack. Also it is causing brunt like marks. we have aleady decided to swithc to another brand.
I am going to send an complaint.
