[Resolved] Professional Courier — Customer Service
My wife had sent a courier through Professional Couriers from Kottayam (CN# 1534080), Kerala on 26th December
10:00am to my office at ITPL, Bangalore. she was informed that it will reach me on 27th December noon. However,
until 29th December I did not receive the package. I tried contacting different offices of Professional Courier (Kottayam, ITPL, Mission Road) and each one gave me a different story. In short, I had no idea about where this package was and IF
and WHEN I will get it.
At last by late night on 29th Dec, the ITPL office informed me that they have the package and since 30th is Sunday, they
can deliver it only on 31st. Since I had no confidence that they will deliver on 31st as well, I offered to go to their ITPL office and collect it. He asked me to come to office at 8:00am. After waiting in front of the closed office for 45 minutes, I called him again and was told he was on his way to open the office. Finally, I got the package by 9:30am on 31st Dec.
Promised next day delivery happened after 5 days! What was worse is that it was lying at their ITPL office from 27th Dec onwards and when questioned the response I got was that they could not deliver it since delivery boy was on leave! I sent a complaint mail to their head office but there was no response. Apparently, no one reads that mail box. I suggest at a minimum they change their name to "Unprofessional Couriers".
This was the first time I am availing the services of (Un)Professional Courier and my experience is disappointing to say the least.
