Another bogus multi level marketing scam introducing Qi Group's e-commerce based business model...had the opportunity of being introduced to the workings of this virtual enterprise...the second quickest route to becoming a crorepati after KBC of course...ek lakh do phir teen-char saal tak logon ko topi pehnao aur crorepati bano...the common thread tying these pple together is they're all frustrated in their jobs - overworked n underpaid (most of them come from media/advertising backgrounds n understandably so)...they're all looking for a way out, an escape route...a way to earn a quick buck...well so the pitch started by them asking me what I do in life their trap was aimed at getting out of me how frustrating my current job was & then pitching to me this brilliant foolproof crorepati route...so I was curious I said I like to try out new things currently I'm in the midst of things n haven't figured anything out fr myself...so it seemed to them that I was a good bakra...they went on with ratta rattaya gyan like the company was started by some few economists n it was named in Forbes as the fastest growing company none of which I found on Google as true in fact it is owned by an Indian born Malaysian businessman who there are reports has been sought after by the Interpol...then they went on to speak of products the company deals in which they claim are amazing Five Star Resort Stays at throw away prices...some water enhancing system that works like magic n pple can stay awake fr like 36 hours it also helps diabetics in sme way nt sure...I'm nt saying this is true or false point is it sounds too good to be true n until u try it u won't know...point is this system works like Amway only it is virtual so even though I was given links to check out their products if I want to buy something I can only buy it via someone who's registered with it...also these links don't mention the price so how do I decide whether I even want to buy something without all the information...in effect I have to meet this person who's registered tell him/her to show me the product with the prices then decide...so if someone needs to invest so much time into one customer purchasing how is it economical n isn't e-commerce supposed to b an economical model...well in a way it is economical as the company owners don't pay these guys anything to acquire customers...they do get some commission for every person who signs up / buys anything from the site though but nothing fr spending time on those who turn u down... so it's like ur own business they tell u it's better than owning a restaurant or a pan tapri as u won't have to work for 8 hours u can work wen u like while vacationing or while sitting in a coffee shop as obviously they have no office so for the initial capital u invest which is anything in between 1 to 6 lakhs (there is a 40K wala option also but it is not mentioned/ recommended by the experts- commission kum hoga) u can start ur own virtual enterprise (WOW)...then u have to get 2 more people under you directly so u have to go out there talk to friends/family/colleagues n whoever's stupid enough to invest at least 1 lakh each for joining...then similarly as u became bakra u have to make these pple bakra in turn they'll bakra 2 more pple each so totally 50 pple have to bcme bakra fr me to even recover my one lakh...I can't even calculate 3 crores ke liye kitne topi pehnane honge...n trust me i[censored] happen to meet any of these jokers u'll realize hw none of them have even counted a crore rupees even while playing monopoly bt here they are selling short cut schemes to get there...itne saal amway karke kitne log crorepati bane...think bout it! Here's a review of QNet I came across on the net:
"A company called Qnet, who used to call themselves Questnet, sell the silliest item I've seen in years, the so-called BioDisc. This is a piece of engraved glass they claim possesses magical properties.

Save the World from QI/Qnet Scam
This information is addressed to all those brave Samaritans trying their best save the world, by spreading awareness about how QI /Qnet is all about a scam & people should stay away from it.
I am sure by the end of this blog all those Samaritans would appreciate the message unless you are distributors of the competitive company to Qnet.
Before I write any further, I would like to mention that after a very extensive research & study I have come to an conclusion that Scam/Fraud is not defined as “any opportunity that is not understood or suitable to even single individual in total world population” but defined as “deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest-advantage or activity forbidden by law.”
So it really surprises me how an educated citizen of an educated society could actually claim the opportunity provided by QI/Qnet to be a scam, just because it did not suit them or they did not understand. I guess it would be more appropriate to write a blog saying “Why QI/Qnet opportunity did not suit me” than “QI/Qnet is a scam”
But honestly I believe that everyone who isn’t financially free needs an opportunity like Qnet and most of the negative blogs are result of failure on part of the representative who presented the opportunity to Samaritans in concern, or may be these people simply did not seek enough information before coming to such extreme conclusions.
So the whole idea is to give you enough information that will make you realize that there’s nothing wrong with the opportunity & that it simply did not suit you.
Now let’s accept that any opportunity/business practice/ company that has been well accepted on global platform & running legally as per the law of Land for more than 14 years, it would be fundamentally wrong & misleading to call it a ‘Scam’.
So is Qi/Qnet legal in India & well accepted on global platform?

And together with the simplicity of the opportunity & back up of this amazing organisation, it will only take us to channelize our effort in right direction & achieve the change.
For others who were actively involved in saving the world, I hope you will appreciate the piece of information given above & refrain from any such activity that could deny someone this life changing opportunity. First of all, I want to clear the air, Mrs Tina Jagasia has created. Although she had some valid points but some of her points are ridiculously stupid.
First of all, there are people in Qnet or whatever QI group try to show off their income even though they haven't earned, they boast, they try to arm twist, they try to hide some information. I know, everybody doesn't do it, but there are nuisances who are spreading like a plague, who for a quick buck try to emotionally blackmail you.I dont know but there is bad taste in Tina's mouth because of that.
Second thing, Tina mentioned how many people in Amway or Tupperware become millionaires.Seems like a valid point on the surface but actually a stupid point. Tina, just look yourself into the mirror and ask yourself one question, you had completed MBA from IES management school, How many people topped the class? How many people bagged highest package? Is it everybody.
I gave CAT 2011, I got 98.47%, I didn't get calls from not a single IIM, does that mean whatever test series I joined AIMCAT, SIMCAT whatever, they robbed me and I should sue them.
How many people give and actually pass CA finals? 3-5%.
The same ratio is valid here.Everybody has a chance but few people make it to the top.Even in job only one person becomes CEO.
I am wondering Tina, all people you saw couldn't afford Autoriskhaw who were in Qnet, I want to ask you one question, then why are you hanging with those losers? Get a life. There are people making fortunes here.Go and find those.
If people associated with QI group are doing something wrong doesnt mean that company is doing something illegal.
You work in Hindustan Uniliver, you know how many people do other activities apart from work. Does that make HUL a bad company just because employees are like that?
Again this is not to tell you how great QI is?
There will be doubters everywhere. The more you rise, the more stupid people will throw stones at you, but we should know art of silencing the critic.

QI group is an MLM company. Someone called Sapna will not disclose and insist on meeting one of their representatives a certain Mr. Bimal (in Delhi). When I expressed disinterest, they hung up the phone quickly. Very Rude!
You know if people are frustrated, they usually loose their senses. And when someone loose their senses, they talk non sense. Tell me in today's time who is not frustrated, everyone is...frustrated from their life...from their job. The thread above just divides the frustrated people in two...
1) One who are frustrated with their life and job and since can't find a way out accepts their current state as the true way of life
2) The others who are frustrated with their life and job and found a way to escape through this opportunity with QI group.
The people who are on a mission of bad mouthing about this company, fall in the 1st category. During conversation you call it a Mentor of your friend who invited you or so called Sr. Partner ended up showing you a mirror, which you didn't liked to be shown by someone else. And that truth was bitter. Since, people couldn't digest it and join the venture so they puked it out here by portraying themselves as a Savior of the society from this noble company. Their mission is to stop others to see the mirror of their lives which no one in the world will ever show them. I've been to a meeting with a friend to meet his Sr. Partner. Very sweet guy to talk and whatever he talked made sense. I believe in facts and figures and had loads of doubts and questions in mind before the meeting. As even I had read about all these scam and fraud things about this company.
But at the end of the meeting, my eyes were open I actually knew from where these guys are actually coming from. And I could connect...
So what you think I would have done...join them...right!
No! I couldn't do it, coz I didn't had money to spend for my shares at that moment. Even I felt the cost of the products seems very high.
So I went home and checked the reviews of the products displayed on their portal in spite of reviewing the credibility of the company. Not just reviews...but facts and figures too. And I realized the products are worth that spend.
I haven't joined them yet. Still I will continue to promote and support this company. Its not that I can't afford 70K or 1L. I have bigger dreams, I want to spend bigger. The day I gather my money I'll be in. For sure.
On the peripheries my life seems happy and good like you all. But we all know very well whats beneath the peripherals of our lives and how much we all are keen to have a change in our lives.
I've been a fan of Robert Kiyosaki for a long time...Rich Dad..Poor Dad.

It's such a funny opinionated article you have written. I can't stop laughing. it'sobviously a case of sour grapes quite simply the case of ZERO confidence in yourself and a friend who must have approached you. Now while it is completely alright to have an opinion, it is quite another to make statements without knowledge because it only reflects on one's stupidity and lack of vision. The only thing i can probably say in your favour today is that perhaps the person who spoke to you didn't actually stress enough that this is a serious business and that it is not some get rich quick scheme! Yesterday One of My Known Person.. Who is working in a MNC Company in senior position, called me and asked to meet me in coffee shop. Thinking of the position & Co he works i went down as per the promised time. Over there i was introduced with two more person, with only names and the information that they are working for MNC, without the name of the company. I was till then OK. As they might not be interested into revealing the complete identity as we just met. We sat ordered coffee and immediately after that one of the gentleman shot-ed me a question... Why i am doing business... ? Definitely the answer for this question for everyone would be same .. because of Money and your family... the same was mine... there the started... QI ... Invest Rs. 2.5 Lac and earn more than 5 Crore in year.. and bla bla. bla... with Focusing on Why and How and COD ? They gave me few stories where they claimed the senior ppl working with salary above crores have quit and joined QI... They are jerks... if they have done that .. !!
It didn't stopped there for them .. They mentioned QI Was not promoted by Indian whereas It is.. They Preach Ghandhi Ji.. yes the site says so..they preach Mahatma Gandhi.. but currently the company is more focused and preaching Sonia Gandhi and the way her government is working...
Everyone who is reading this Beware of it... don't Become a Bakra.. this is dangerous.. because once u Invest you will have no options to make someone else bakra to take out your money which you have collected with hard work...
After i came back from the meeting i was shocked that such an educated person, how he got into this.. You will notice one thing.. In this you will find those ppl from corporate sector .. who to earn some extra bucks have got into it.. and they have good personality.. with that charm they are pulling in other know ppl of their... Why this ppl are not approaching any of their family members.. because they have come to know they have become a bakra and making their family ppl bakra it will cost them.. so thats the reason why you will be sitting there...
The best part when the meeting ends .. they will immediately say.. lets go to the ATM and withdraw the cash and get you into the business.. on Top of that if you say u don't have that much amount in ATM, they would immediately say we can swipe your credit card as well... I know how i came out of that trap.. SO Guys any time if anywhere you heard the word QI.. just remember its time to run. how you need to be best to judge the situation and come out..
But just for everyone .. please ensure don't join to earn Rs. 1000 in today's day if you are highly educated .. it is a tough call.. No one pays their hard earned money to anyone without any reason... So Just Beware.. QI... is Kyu Ayai.. hindi mein.. The names just don't come...

I happened to meet few people offering me the so called lifetime business opportunity which anyways was unfathomable to my brain.Their claims of Qi group of companies as a life changer with no revelation of business fundamentals was enough for me to get suspicious.

Let's come to the point. I observe that most of the people are being judgmental and subjective while venting out their frustrations. I fully sympathize with those who had bad experience, but that doesn't mean you start blaming the whole company or the entire industry. This business is unconventional and not a cup of tea for everyone. It is based upon 100% e-commerce and a very very robust model. I can respond to each and every objection written here, but that is not my intent, as I don't want to waste my precious time on those who have no clue how the e-commerce industry works. This company has taken e-commerce to a level, where some other big companies will crave to reach in future. I have a lot of e-commerce technology experience, so I can guide anyone with a neutral mindset how it all works, and why it is THE future of e-commerce. It is like you have the ability to own a digital supply chain model, which is the modern legacy.

Companies like Airtel, BSNL, Microsoft, Virgin Racing are not stupid to be associated with a company like QI. So some might work on it or not that's ok, but the company will not stop working. Cause we cannot please everyone. Good comments or bad, the company is doing record turnover and networking per say is churning out maximum millionaire's year after year. So you decide will u go by some comments on the blog by people who are not making money or u will atleast ask people who are making money or are determined to do so. Choice is yours. Dont do the stupid mistake what I did 4 years back and atleast give it a shot. You don't know how your life is gonna change.

Amazing discussion!! Loved seeing both the sides of it! I just joined Qnet and though had been totally convinced with the Company and what it stands for, was being bombarded by the same crap I came across here... of it being a scam and the business model being one of desperation of having got into it... But the learning and reaffirmation of the correctness of my decision is compounded... For every non-sense that was thrown on the Group loved the educative and informative way it was dealt with by the rightly informed crowd... I too had joined the group 5 years back and been carried away by the media information of it being a scam... I too regret that... Its not false to say that It's a pyramid where the first 10% made a huge sum, and the next 20% made some money or just broke even. The 70% who joined afterwards have only lost money and are the ones who now want it back. Now the QI Net or Qnet is in 20% stage where so called earning heftily .but the craziness or the bubble growing at big pace no wonder the last 70% is not too far, where the tears will be more than smiles. and they will move to Astrolgers for their happy days. This Bakranet's doomsday is very near and the guy who claimed to be CA+CFA+MBA => Boss u have wasted time n money . Still Educated and Learned member should refrain from such trap .
If the initial 'investment' in the QI venture is Rs. 1.75 lakh (that's what I was told) then I should know exactly what I will be doing with my time. If it's an e-commerce venture than what are the products that I need to be selling. E-commerce in India is headed for a great boom and there is so much competition, so many websites with thousand of products to offer. But Qnet.com lists just a handful of products and that too without any price given. Now this is something contrary to the whole e-commerce Indian business strategy. I also found out that the Qnet.com website is not open to general buyers; you can only buy through a partner.
I was told that I would not have to create customers for Qnet.com but only create business partners; Qnet.com will take care of customers on their own and that 'QI Business Partners' are not sales people. Agreed. But to become a QI business partner you need to buy products worth at least Rs. 1.75 lakh before you become a partner. So you are actually doing the same thing indirectly. You are creating partners and in turn creating customers for Qnet.com. Means the same thing to me.
Now again this could be a great business venture but MLM or Multi Level Marketing is a grey area as far as the Indian law is concerned. There is no Government regulator and if you have a complaint, you don't know where to go (here's a 2009 Indian Express article as an example - 'RBI flashes red signal at MLM companies' - http://bit.ly/MSRiOC ). The SpeakAsia controversy is another example that we should look at while evaluating QI. --

The point is that we have been shown a great way to earn astronomical returns on our investments, and I am sure it's working well for the QI Partners team. I have also been assured that it's 100% legal. However, if I invest Rs. 175, 000 to buy TCS or Hindustan Unilever or Reliance Industries shares, I know what I am getting into. I can see what the company is, who the people are, what the company sells. But in the case of QI, I have to buy products that I don't really need and than make people I know buy the same products so that I can get my money back. Even if I lose my money in shares, I know what I am getting into. In the case of Qnet.com, I am not sure what I am getting into, even after a two-hour session and after meeting three Partners.
