I, Subir Debnath, a former ration card holder of Amherst Street, Kolkata - 6, submitted my surrender certificate and Form 1 to Sonarpur Rationing office for changing my address on 18.03.10. A receipt was given to me( 1265 ) including a tentative date 16.07.10. On that very date I have to request to collect my ration card personally.
But I come to know that the changing of address takes only seven days. But in this case they are taking more or less four months.
Here a question arises, what is the actual time to be taken to change an address. Is it seven days or four months?

i lost my ration card before 20 years .i have applied many times but still i am not receiving any proper information.i went taluk office many times that concerned persons did not give proper reason i feel very bad about our government service.without ration card i am facing lot of problems.
