Hello,
I have booked my kitchen for our newly purchased house through Reliance living on 17th Sep 2011 and wardrobes in the next 10 days, for the total cost of 360166/-.
On 17th I have paid 50,000/- as advance. At the time of booking they will finish by end of October. Based upon their commitment we have planned to shift during the 1st week of November. Meanwhile they told to make the 100% payment for the kitchen, so that they can deliver the kitchen first.
We made the payment of 1,45000/- But they even failed to deliver the material on time. After lot of follow ups and pestering they delivered the kitchen material on 29th Oct.
From 25th-29th every day they bluffed that it is going to be delivered today, and I had to wait long hours at the site, leaving my other work and office. The person told that we'll deliver wardrobe also, then we start all together and asked for the full payment.
We paid the full amount using debit card, credit card and cash. The next week all the material arrived, after each day wait and false promises.
After delivery of the material no one turned up for the next one week, again after lot of follow ups and request they sent one carpenter at the site.
The carpenter arrived with any drawing and schema. He was so unable to start his work, as there were 85 boxes. The next day he started and found that there are many things missing or there are wrong measurement. meanwhile they told me to remove the already laid granite in the kitchen so that they can do the clean work.
In between they misguided me, given wrong advises and there were no responses for 3-4 days to my calls. I had to take the granite measurement from the carpenter, and i ordered it. every day they told that today they will arrange the carpenter, and made me wait for hours, finally no one turned up.
They tortured me like any thing and i had lot to suffer. I had lot other things pending like painting, plumbing, cleaning, which i could not finish because the wood work was not completed.
I had to call many times the sales person and he was unresponsive to my calls. I sent sms for which he replied he will arrange soon. Finally after getting completely fed up, i spoke to his manager on 10th Nov, who then ensured that he will get every thing done in a week. We already failed to shift and have to pay rent for the month. Even after the manager assurance things didn't move. I spoke again, then one site engineer came and checked the material and told many things are missing or arrived wrongly. each time we asked give us a date to completion and they told within one week we'll finish, we then planned to shift end of November.
But things still didn't change, though they made me run and follow them up every time. Made me to wait for the carpenter from morning 10 to 1pm. After all this they arranged one another carpenter, who started his work but couldn't finish as material was either missing or wrong. The site engineer again came and gave some advise to make work arounds which we didn't agree. finally we had a meeting with his manager and his team on 19th Nov at his richmond road office. He listened and scolded his team and asked to make all missing arrangements by 23rd and finish the job by 25th. we told him all the details and plans to shift at least by end of november, because we already gave notice to our present owner.
But its 25th November and since 23rd i'm calling them many times, they are just fooling me around. I called up many many times, sent sms, all the time they said the carpenter is coming in morning , then afternoon, evening, then tomorrow. But the day went and nothing happened.
I request to help me in this situation, its a real torture and harassment. I lost my peace of mind, they had to incur lot of personal loses, wasted my time and money. This is in short, the real torture was even more. They have not yet given me the invoice for wardrobe, even after asking hundred times. I request the admin to do the needful.
