I had booked a 200 sq yds plot in Dehradun Santour City II in Dec 2006 and paid about 3 lacs towards price of land within the next 3 months. On enquiring the status from Octagon builders I was told by Mr Pradeep Agarwal that the project has run into problems and they are not getting approval for aquiring the said land.
After many visits to Octagon office in Noida sector 10, I was told in Feb 2009 that the project has been shelved and they cannot give me the promised plot. He said that they cannot refund my money and I should change the plot to Haridwar Santour City and they will sell the plot and refund my money within 5-6 months.
So far they have not done that even after repeated requests to them. They have moved their office to noida sector 63 and changed the name of their company.
We all should get together and take legal action against them to get our hard earned money back. Was this information helpful? |
