The complaints are false and baseless. I had a heart attack in January 2010 and got the angioplasty done for one total blockage at the age of 38. The life became a hell after that due to unending suggestions. My cardiologist asked me not to play, run or do weight training. I became weak in body. My dietician asked me to stop eating ghee, paneer, cheese, all the fruits except apple and orange. I was further asked to stop eating parathas, coconut and sweets due to which I lost interest in the food as it was tasteless. The result was I gained weight and became weak in body and mind. Then I got the books of Rujuta as a blessing as I was totally frustrated with life. I was utterly shocked to read them and tried to follow them with some doubt as a new year resolution. As another blessing Micky Mehta's exercise center also opened in Nagpur. As Gym and sports were banned for me and I was fedup with walking as it was boring and had no results at all, I joined the Micky Mehta's center immediately. Please believe me within a month following Rujuta and exercising with Micky Mehta, I got all the thrill and vitality back in my life. I regained my physical and mental fitness. Now I am very happy and grateful to Rujuta and Micky Mehta for giving me my interest and zeal in life back to me. Grateful to Almighty for bringing these people in my life. Written in detail so that the others can be benefitted. . Shailendra Harode, advocate high court, Nagpur.

Okay, here is my take on this. Rijuta knows what she is talking about (or at least a lot of it). She has the diplomas to back it. Moreover, there are more people who are willing to speak up for her, as against the 1 who criticises her. She must be doing a lot which is right. Results after all speak for themselves.
However, there are a few statements she makes at times, in her book and even on her website that leave me puzzled. They go against the grain of what is normally said out there bu 95% of the nutritionists and experts: -
-- “If you eat sweets during your festivities without guilt, you won’t put on fat. Take your body into confidence.”
!! Seriously .. are you freakkin kidding me, which country is she living in anyway !!
-- Then she goes and places on her site the following (see attached image): -
where she goes ahead and glories street foods such as phav bhaaji, chat, etc .. whicch we all know has nutritional values.
She is known for promoting Indian foods at the cost of other known health cuisines globally. She says salads are boring, Olive oil is "apparently" bad. I understand that being Indian her audience is Indian and prefers Indian foods, but she promotes all types of Indian food as good, which is certainly not the case.
If we had to all listen to her and eat sweets, jalebi's and diwali sweets while not thinking about it (the following link explains our predicament now): -

If ghee was all that good, and I am sure it is .. then we won't be having this cardiovascular health risk: -
http://www.world-heart-federation.org/press/releases/detail/article/reasons-for-...⇄
I can also conclude now that most of the folk who are suffering cardio vascular diseases eat predominantly Indian food - aloo parotha, butter naan, rice with ghee, and the loads of other "healthy" vegetarian stuff which looks very innocent.
But that would be me generalizing too much. So, all I can say folks is don't take all she says at face value.
Some of what she says above - is total hogwash ..
Oh and you have statistics that tell you a completely different story

Ruj is well versed in knowledge of nutrition. For you knowledge below are few of them:
*Sports Nutrition course, Australia institute of Sports, Canberra 2010
*P.G in Sports science and Nutrition, S.N.D.T College, Mumbai, 1999
*Sadhna intensive and Teacher training courses from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta academy, Uttarkashi.
Also she is a celebrity nutritionist. If you hire one such, he/she will charge obviously in lacs. Same applies to a designer or makeup artist from Bollywood. I would suggest, please do some homework before you post such complaints.
Nothing personal just a FYI.

Well she is beautiful... I mean her work too is beautiful..Just listen to her videos in Hindi and English.. she sounds absolutely sensual.. I mean sensible... sorry... I am bit drunk cant type correctly( she permits occasional drinking)... she gives good examples... "If you believe that marriage justifies the rape, then the biscuit by all means...". and there r no special qualifications required for dietary wisdom... even the most bloody educated people can misguide... she is not one of them...As for me, I have bought her many products from the amazon.in...Look at her figure... I mean overall ..do u think she is out of shape from any angle...If she can maintain herself so well and so...why can she other? So I am her fan...
Yes I feel she lacks logical & scientific explaination for queries of people, she fails to satisfy the doubts as we attended her open day event where we raised her lot of quetions.
Either you were paid to write this complaint or you personally don't like her !!
Who ever stupid has return this post should know that she is a certified nutritionist.

Sorry to say, but she doesn't have a degree in Nutrition. She has a PG in sports science and nutrition, which is not the same as a general nutrition or dietetics education.
Sorry to say, but she does not have a degree in nutrition. As per her own website, she has a post graduate in sports science and nutrition, which is not the same as general nutrition and dietetics. But anyway, in India you don't have to have any qualification to practice a profession. You just need the confidence to [censored], and endorsement from Bollywood.
As they say, "haters gonna hate"...this is surely someone who is jealous of her success . I love rujuta diwekars diet strategy...n the way she has busted fitness myths n diet fads .as well as promoted gaining health rather than losing wealth..kudos to her :)
If you need help just join iifym page on fb. Its a group. Free of cost. Yes she is a cheat.she doesn't talk about calories.she plays to the Hindu mindset and the vegetarians are God mindset. Lol.
Rujuta Diwekar is not a doctor. Period.
Rujuta Diwekar is not qualified to recommend you what is good for your health. If she does, she is not more than a quack-doctor. Her best qualification is diploma in sports-training & nutrition -- a degree that is attained by people who do not even get admitted to Bachelor's in Science, leave getting into a Medical Degree program. The people who become doctors are vetted for intelligence and practice for 10's of years to gain the expertise. Rujuta Diwekar is no one and, at most, is just a celebrity thriving over innocent people who follow her thinking her Twitter following makes her a "doctor". She makes money, you lose health.
Please consult your doctor for your diet plan. Everyone is different and only doctor can help you. Stop feeding these people with likes and followings, it is disservice to society and encourages online quack-doctors like her.
