[Resolved] Safexpress Cargo — Damage and missing of goods
Believing safexpress to be the best logistic solution provider I made a big blunder in my life. There are lots to be done regarding providing better service rather then claiming self to be the best. The awards and certifications became valueless when a customer breaks into tears after receiving a consignment where goods are heavily damaged and even a couple of goods are missing.
The same happen with me when I booked a consignment from Jorhat, Assam to New Delhi. The consignment consists of an old split A/C, 2 musical instruments, (Tanpura and Harmonium) One electrical oven and a metal rack with books. The bill number was 17787027. For safety purpose the goods were packed under wooden crate for which a good amount of money has been spent. There were 5 wooden crates, and one
Gunny bag (rake and books) and open (AC pipes) good at the time of booking .The booking office is Jorhat. (Cont person Ajay Sankar Bora. Cont. Num. [protected]) But when the consignment reached at receivers hand there were only two wooden crates. They were the electric oven and the tanpura.(even the Tanpura was not packed as tight as before loading, hence it was damaged badly.)All other goods came without wooden crate and hence the both panel of the AC and the voltage stabilizer have suffered bad damage. The AC outer panel and the voltage stabilizer was booked as one good and they
were under same wooden crate. But since the wooden crate was removed hence they became two separate good. That is why the receiver even could not understand that one box is missing. That box consists of the harmonium and some books which is not yet found. Surprisingly the at Gurgaon goodown supervisor ( Rajneesh Roy, Cont Num[protected]gave a written comment that he received the articles that way only ( 2 wooden crate, 4 gunny bag and one open).
It is really surprising to see that some culprit can remove the wooden bars from the package when the shipment was under responsibility of Safexpress. Why the goodown people did not report to any body when they found the consignment was not as packed as described. All these articles which were damaged and missed were come from had earned money and lot of emotions attached with them. It’s a shame for India’s best logistic solution provider.
