[Resolved]  Sahara Swarn Yojana — Non Receipt of Payment

I am the wife of an Ex-serviceman. I had applied for your in Sahara Swarna Yojna (Opt-A) at your Avantika Branch Delhi on 31/10/2003 and filled up two Application forms vide Application Nos.[protected] and[protected]. Accordingly I had deposited Rs 2,00,000 /- (in two receipts of Rs 1,00,000 /- each) the same day vide your Receipt Nos.[protected] and[protected]Copies or Receipts attached) and was issued my Pass Books(No.[protected]. While we were assured that the Residential Scheme at Delhi (Chauma) would be offered soon.

When there was an unacceptable delay in allotment and I needed money for urgent requirement elsewhere I filled up Application for Pre-maturity for both the accounts. After lot of follow up I was issued a cheque for one of the two accounts for Rs 35,078 /- vide your Punjab National Bank, Sector-5, Rohini,Delhi Cheque Ho. 828168 dated 31/07/08 (copy of Cheque enclosed). I was told that the Cheque for the other account was under preparation and would be issued within a month. When the Cheque for Rs 35,078 was deposited in the bank it was returned by the bank as the payee name was given as ‘AVNINDER’ instead of ‘AVNINDER CHANDOK’. I handed over the Cheque at the same period to Mr. Sanjeev of your Avantika Branch (Mobile No. [protected]) for rectification of Name. After one year I managed to get one Cheque

I have also not received the second Cheque as yet.

In an exactly identical case for my Nephew Rana Harvinder Singh Rekhi who applied along with me vide Application Nos[protected] and[protected] and Receipts Nos.[protected] and[protected] respectively there has been no problem and both the Cheques were issued on 31/07/08 .

For the last 4 years I am waiting for my Refund Cheque.

What I am not able to understand is:-
1. When both cases (Rana Harvinder Singh and self) were identical and both my accounts being identical, why discrimination was done and only one Cheque issued to me in 2008 (finally got only in 2011) ?
2. Why has the second Cheque for the other account not been issued as yet since 2008 ?

I am formally writing to you to take suitable action to immediately issue my pending payment with Interest to me. I have reached the end of my patience.
