[Resolved]  Sandhar — Disappointment with airtel

Dear Sir,

I'm extremely disappointed with Airtel.

On 18.10.08 when out of station I found that my mobile was not working in roaming. Upon my return I took up with customer care and was advised that this could be due to congestion and I should try manual search. In case that did not work I was advised to insert the SIM card in another handset and try.

On 23.10.08 I was again out of station and found that the mobile was not working. I tried manual search as well as inserted the SIM in other handsets, without success.

I again spoke to customer care. Nobody at Airtel had a clue what was happening. I was finally asked to get my SIM card changed which I did on 26.10.08.

I was out of station yesterday, 30.1.09 and again the mobile stopped working while in roaming.

I'm absolutely sick and tired, disappointed and disgusted with Airtel. I'm a marketing professional and have to be out of station fairly often.

I am a subscriber of the Rs. 1198 CUG plan for which I have paid Rs. 1198 in advance in October 2008. I would request that my connection be cancelled and the amount for the balance period be refunded to me after adjusting the unpaid amount against my number.

I await your urgent confirmation on action taken.
