[Resolved] Saravana Stores Furniture — poor service | |||
i bought a sofa set in saravana stores furniture division 3 months back.but within a week of purchasing,my sofa started giving trouble.sofa started giving in.when i contacted saravana stores,they gave another person's no.(another thing is that saravana stores is not selling furniture directly.some other companies are selling their products under saravana's roof.so i[censored] have problem with the products,u have to call the unknown manufacturer)i tried calling the other guy.after hundreds of calls and few weeks later and rectified the problem.again 1 month later again i had the same prob in 3 seater.i have been making calls everywhere,still no solution to it.though they tell u that the sofa carries 1yr warranty,nothing really works out.i tell u guys not to buy furniture unless u r not worried abt after sales service. Very poor customer service... as said above we have also bought Dinning table and sofa set it is more than 12 days now still not delivered and they keep saying it will be delivered today tomorrow evening night kind and all.I am fed up of calling again and again...giving address details hell lot of time to different people
Just to buy everything in one place i went thr and selected all items and placed order but experienced very bad service not sure how the stuff would be though :-(

I too had a similar experience, i had order for a TV stand. But i got a other model which i have not decided to buy. One week has passed still, no one came for replacement, fed up with the follow up. If there is any means of cancelling it iam very glad
Self purchased set of furniture along with one rubber wood dining table (on 3rd June). All material inspected and taken to house by self except dining table which was door delivery. Dining table delivereed on 5th June in fully packed condition against bill which was the only one proof I had. 8th June fitter assembled the table during assembly we found cracks on legs of the table and table is not firm/stable on ground. Fitter informed that the legs will be replaced and condition will be reported to supplier. Till yesterday no one came. I self went to Tnagar with written complaint. There is no responsible person for taking complaint and not even to respond properly. I told I will pick and drop to physical verification of the product from physical verification of the unused table and nothing happened. Finally I have been informed that they will check with MD and come back on replacement. Now I received the call that replacement is not possible. I do not know what to do with this unstable dining table.
I am also face the same and related Problems with Saravana stores furniture. We ordered office table for our office last weak (04.08/12) they said we will deliver the material with in 2 days and also assemble the same with in 2 days. But they deliver the WRONG MATERIAL ( different model), then they commit us we will change the material within 2 days but still they are not change the material and they are not at all pick our calls. we tried lot of numbers of saravana stores. but they can't respond us. so please don't encourage these type of stores and peoples for your purchase. They never change their mistakes and behaviors...
Yes, I agree with this. irresponsible staff's .. they never worry about what we are trying to convey them.. Its always happen in Saravana Stores (no response to customer and no proper services)
I brought a cot in new saravana furniture store (on 18 nov'12) . they promised the fitting to be done on the time of delivery . but the persons who delivered the furniture said they don't do the fitting and also charged extra amount along with fitting charges. its been 4 days since then, no one turned up. When i tried to call the stores, none answer the calls. If they answer also the response is horrible.
After repeated trials i got a contact number who is the actual dealer of the cot. But they charge again for the fitting.

I purchased Coffee table, Dining table & Sofa together but my bad luck I prefered saravana store
1. Coffee table & Dining table delivered with broken parts & replaced after several follow up
2. Repeated complaints in sofa ( Wood broken at several areas within a month o[censored]sage)

I bought one kettle in Saravana store on Feb' 15. They said will send the Carpenter to apply the Varnish for Kettle. Still Carpenter not come to my home and also when I am calling to them not responding my call. They are speaking very roudly.

i bought bero two weeks back but still no one is there to fit it. almost i have called more than 10 people no one ready to take responsibility. Bought a cot and matt(bed). They delivered wrong size bed. When i called they answered so lethargic and saying "mistakes are common, you have to tolerate and so ". After hearing such words from them feeling so much frustrated. There is no separate customer care number to escalate. Ridiculous services. Never expected from big brand.
I have bought a sofa set (2+3) 6 yrs back..i had seen a dark brown sofa and paid at their outlet at t nagar( next to madley subway). But I recvd a black color sofa. When contacted their staff, they were very incourteuos and replied rudely.they havent changed the same till date..since past 3 yrs I have been following up for repairs of the sofa which also has not been taken care.they are also not giving the number of the service shop...they don't have any ethics of sale.. Very sub standard..staff who answer the telephone particularly the after sale calls u make will make u run mad..dirty cheaters..
I bought a revolving chair.One side hand broken. gave complaint. No body is attending. months are passing...

Month of October-19 20.10.2019 purchased Dinning set in that while delivered the materials fitting time noticed defective one and said replace it, and they agreed to replace but till date repeated follow up and reminder no body responsible and asking for extra charge.
Who ever there staff are behaving just like illiterate and misbehave they are not bothered about the manners and customers. Really fed up . Did Mistake purchase Padi Saravana furnitures store.

I purchased the sofa 6 mnth back, quality is poor, woods are getting crack, nails are heading out, foam got in. Whn we bought they didn't deliver the coffe table with then after hundreds of following they delivered it two month delayed. Suggest don't go with saravana for furniture.

Like senthil, i also brought a office table for my office 2 weeks back. they said that it will be assembled after 3 to 4 days but till today nobody has come to assemble it. the phone is not being picked up and even if they pick it up, irresponsible answers were given. What can i do? should i sit in the floor in my office???
just to save a few hundred rupees...i have lost my peace and valuable time...
