[Resolved]  SCDL — exam recheck

i m giving scdl papers n i must tell u that it is all crap
the lang is nt correct..even in the exam..n we call the scdl help center they just dont pick up the phone n that to the computer start saying crap things..that too a std call..my mgmt acc n ob paper was really gud when i did bt whn i finished they said fail i was just shock...
there is no help from scdl people the ques asked in the exam r totally different from the assignment n those type of ques r even nt in d book...
plz tell me that hw can i get out of it n get my money back..coz i can afford the damm lose of my money..even when this is of any use

Dear Sir/ Mam,

This is to bring to your kind notice that we, as a students, are not getting proper information about online examination. After attempting the online assignments/examination one should know atleast that which questions were answered wrongly but we are not provided by any such facility. And moreover i want the record of three examinations i.e Business Communication, Business Organisation & Management Accounting. So, please help me get the same as soon as possible.

I totally agree with the above complains. I am a student of 2006 batch. I sent across a mail confirming my registration validity. I received a mail telling that it is till july 2010 and i have ample of time. However i saw a message that i can only apply for the exam till 28th April. I was a collage topper but i have failed one exam by just 1 mark and the in one i scored only 36 which i cross-checked at home i shud have easily scored above 60. I gave these papers in 1st week of April and they will not update till 10May till then i would have no option left. I have sent a mail across twice but no response yet. My job hangs pn balance because of this. Any suggestions.

I am a 2007 batch student. All the complaints mentioned here are very true as me and my friend are experiencing the same in our exams. We were sure of our HRM and MKTG papers as we hav scored highest marks in these subjects at the time of our BBA. But still they failed us in such simple subjects for 3 to 4 marks. Education should not be taken as a business. This way you are playing with student's future as all o[censored]s here are working hard to make a good career. In this way you might be making a hell lot of money for sure but you should not cross the ethical limits of the education system. We are making a lot of adjustments to balance between the exam n our jobs. Please stop doing this.

SCDL is not to be trusted they fail the students to get extra reexam money. This has happen with a lot of students.
I think this should stop they should not play with students future. I like to tell all who are intrested in takeing admission st SCDL pl do not take . You will suffer.

I totally agree with the comments written above. Even I appeared in the exam of Management Accounting last evening and I was shocked after getting the marks. I got failed though I was sure that I will earn more than 70% marks.
I want to know which answers were wrong in my sheet. One more thing, this site is for consumer complaints. Will this be profitable for us or we are just writing?

as per my knowledge i hv given my second attempt assignment better than first. still its shows fail.n i hv recheck my answer also.so plz cn u plz send me the questions vd correct answer .so i cn improve my third attempt.coz it is paid assignment.plz clear my doubt as soon as possible.

I agree with you. They don't recheck the answers. They said, it is a fully computerized process, rechecking is not allowed.
I would request all of you to send mails to SCDL. Then only SCDL will allow us to recheck the answers.

Kunal Khanna this side. My friend Preeti is pursuing PGDBA from SCDL. Although it's been her first attempt and she got 33, 34. 34, 42 & 46 marks in her subjects. I suspected that there could be some ugly business going under the table. So, I searched online for more of these complaints.

I am a software developer and I can very well understand how does it work. Here is how it works:

Step 1: They check your multiple choice questions that carry 60 marks.
Step 2: If you get 35 out of 60 marks, they send your subjective questions, that carry 10 marks, for checking and give you proper marks. You get pass with proper marks.
Step 3: If you get less than 35 marks out of 60 from multiple choice questions, your subjective questions are not sent for checking. And you know how much marks you get in subjective questions? Here is the formula:

Let's say you got 'X' marks in objective.
Let 'Y' be a random number which can be either 1 or 2.

Then your marks in subjective will be:

35 - X - Y

So, you will always fail with 1 or 2 marks.

For example, if you get 30 marks in objective, you will not be awarded more than 4 marks in subjective to fail you with atleast 1 mark.

This can be achieved simply in programming. SCDL think we are fools. My friend has just attempted the exams once. If it gets repeated, I may sue them for unfair business practices.
