[Resolved] SCDL — diploma not issued although course completed in 2007 | |
Respected sir My name is Deepti i was a student of 2002 batch with SCDL.I completed my last exam as on MAY 2007. and also got result of passing that as well.However dint received my diploma. when i contacted scdl for the same it was suggested that there are some assignments pending. The last assignmenst were posted in June 2007 as per approved by SCDL for the same. In the full course always assignments were sent through normal mail as per guidlines. In 2008 when it was checked from scdl for delay in issue of diploma they came upwith excuse that assignments arenot yet submitted and if its submitted please showthe proof. As a student of distance learning i cant show ant proof for any of the assignments submitted as it was goin through normal delivery. Now its been almost 1.4 months this issueis still unresolved. I asked them if they can let me know what all assignments they havnt received, so that i can re producethat but its not acceptable neither they are coming up with ant solution to this problem. AS a student its much of HARASSMENT, morover i have spent money on this course also invested my time after spending all this im still at the position where i was in 2002 i.e just a graduate. I hope u can understand the depression and frustration.They dont understand that its so much waste of time n energy also im not able to resume my job because of non availability of my diploma certificate. It s really shameful for univversity that is just focusing on new students and expansion irrespective of millions o[censored]nsatisfied and suffering students. Please help me to sort out this matter. I totally disagree with the above complaint as I feel that SCDL is the most efficient and advanced medium of Distance education in India. I am surprise to know that a student doesnt know what he has to do and what hasn`t to do while pursuing the course. Its the student`s responsibility for go thru the prospectus in detail which is also provided on the website. I am a student of SCDL under NRI category. I find it very convenient to do the program sitting abroad. In my view, no other university is capable of dealing things like SCDL. And the best of all is that I never called SCDL office by phone. I always communicated thru queries section under my login portal and SCDL always find a solution for me within 48 hours. So, we cannot always blame others for our own mistakes. SCDL is unable to provide you the degree because you lapse your course duration. Forget about it, you cannot get this degree now even you follow hard with SCDL as they are very strict on the duration of the program.

Y i too feel its a best university in India But nobody is perfect which is known.

No one from SCDL informed me about this that i wont be getting any more chance as it eas mentined in the guideline that by paying some amount of fine we can again submit it. Finally i failed in project and now SCDL is cancelling my admission and not even giving me mark sheets for assingments and exams cleared.They are playing with student career.

I am also victim of this WORST DISTANCE LEARNING UNIVERSITY . being a sincere student, I cleared all the exams while taking levae from my offices and then started waiting to receive the final degree ...but no one has contacted me and informed me about any thing related to status of registration ...
When I myself reached there ...I came to know that my registration number is expired and now I can not get degree becasue I have not submitted the project report ...but let me understand why I will make myself fool by not providing project report ...since it was not mentioned in the prospectus nor at the portal to submit the project report ...I havnt prepared it ...but finally I dint got my degree...I am still frustrating by the stupid behaviour of SCDL employees...
I would request people to no to opt for any course given by SCDL as this universisyt is becomg Money making machine to Majumdar & Sons . Its like private property to them...and more over its not giving any edge at last in IT career ...better to go to INGNOU at least there you will save some money even if they also dint turned up becasuse of some failures ...
