To the above mentioned complaint i had a meeting with the co-ordinator of seed infotech.
During a long meeting with them they managed to solve all my queries and doubts.
No doubt seed infotech is an excellent institute for getting technically strong and probably the best i india.
So worth investing.
And regarding the placements issue its just that we have to be patient, with the improving it will get better.

DELAY IN ISSUE OF PASSPORT

I have applied for passport (TATKAAL) in the month of Feb 22 for the fiest time, as I am seeking admission in USA for BS. Earlier I have applied TOEFL and passport is required for that and the next date of TOEFL falls nearly days.

Hello,
I joined SEED for the S/W testing course. The course coordinator and Placement department gave full assurance at the time of joining that they will provide full assistance in Good Placements.
But during the course, not even me BUT all students of my batch felt that the course instructor was really going ahead like a High speed course which ideally it was not supposed to.
All o[censored]s complained this to the main concerned person of that branch but it was of no use.

Placement were also like the worst one can ever imagine. Seems that they have tie-up with most of the C Grade companies (companies which have no better Infrastructure and better salaries). Also, there was some lacking observed in proper forwarding of Placement calls (means A grade students were getting these C grade company's calls).

Suggestion for all:
Please try to gather all the possible information by your own resources before joining any such courses at any Institute.

hello friends, my name is rahul sinha and even i am a student of SEED infotech and even i did a course called Diploma in software testing in 23rd feb 2010. and i passes with A+ grade.i got many placement offers from SEED infotech. And currently i am working with one of the leading MNC. And as a fresher i m very very happy with my currenbt package.

Thanks a lot for saving my money and frustration. I dont know about seed. But I had a bad experience with one of the famous English speaking class.
I was thinking of joining the seed.

Guys,
I have seen my few friends getting placed and few not.When i went for the career counselling i was told of the various option. There are two category of courses- Job Oriented Diploma Program( high fees) and Short term skill enhancement program ( less placement support, low fees).
You you have chosen the 2nd option you cant expert a first class treatment.
According to me its better than all other institute. atleast i have seen here so many campus interview happening

It's sad how the big three went bank rupt and closed shops oned by the little people trying to make a living... and then stole the people money in stock and retirement. but yet you stay open.... you need to bring work back to the USA... and remember those you created you... it's sad the way you act as a company...also are you waiting for the world to run out of gas before you do something... are you going to screw up again.... lets thing about the world and people for a change and not about yourselves and how much money you make... oh by the way how do we buy a new car with no job... until you think about us we don't think about you...

Well guys lemme give u a really clear picture of SEED Infotech for dummies.
I have spent 6 month of my career with Seed ..hoping to get a job.
The initial complain was written by me.
Seed infotech does not gaurantee placements but just provides support.
the loop hole is the over promises made by the marketing team and under delivery given by the management.
Internal politics and issues are very much privilant.They take a cut from your salaries and even if permanent positions are available they will keep you on a contract basis to get their cut.
I wrote the grivience post just because this guy (manager) threatened me.That was a point on time when recession was still holding in the market and i needed job desperately without any hassels (hope you undrstand).
So guys believe in your potential cuz even after doing the couse i got my first offer with my own effort from an walkin interview at Mphasis.
If you want to learn something from Seed, Learn Oracle.
The instructor (i dont remember his name, was from delhi) is the best in Pune(infact India).

Seed Infotech Institute make fool students

Seed Infotech, pune is worst Institute. They make fool students by lots of advertisement for jobs. .Dont give job and teach nothing.

I will not recommend Seed Infotech to anybody.

Its better to learn from any working person who teach testing course not Seed Infotech & SQTL

I want to make career in Software Testing, and looking for a good institute for this course which provide quality education with placement assistance. plz suggest which institute will be best for testing course in pune...

Right friends...my wife has a good 3.5 years' experience in manual software testing...she joined Seed to learn automated testing and to get a placement assistance for job in Pune...they just gave a breezy run thru of automated tools...not even a single interview call...and easily washed their hands off by saying "you guys need to search jobs yourself"...and all courses have complementary snacks and lunch...half the course days, the faculty used to come early afternoon and there never used to be more than a session or two a day...such days, no snacks, tea or lunch...such timings, housewives like mine were in a situation where they cant have breakfast or lunch...freshers who did classes with her have been assisted with placement calls...not a single one for my wife (who has experience)...inspite of sending them applications in their formats and calling their contact persons, no use for getting any interview calls...whatever you pay for in Seed, the worth is hardly half of it...

Everything has something right!
However seed has most of the things wrong and very less things right.
Few facts about seed, they have made themselves a bing brand which they are really not. they do not have experienced and knowledgeble trainers. the fact what i observed at seed is that the people who do not get job in software developerment they join seed as trainer, this is the biggest issue.. the consultants working with seed are developers so they are not able to deliver topics as professional trainer. also seed overcommits and when your money is in you are out for them. about placements, you know that no body can gaurantee you 100%palcements, atleast seed could be transperent which they are not. i have already wasted my time and money with seed infotech and didnt get knowledge as well as no job.
seed is just a big brand with no values... dont trust what the councellers at seed says.. always ask for references.

Seed Infotech's Head office is a place. Their counselors think they are so smart, but can't even answer the queries. I met Mr. Kailas & ask about the JDBC. He was unaware about that & was giving me foolish answers. I asked them to call any faculty or a senior counselor who can give me a brief idea. So he called Ennie, who is a arrogant, & non-sense counselor. These people, when could not solve the queries, they start shouting on customer. If anybody met them in seed, then please teach them how to behave with customer.
