Hi, This was regarding a real horrible experience I had with Sharma Transport when I was travelling from Goa (Margao) to Bangalore on the 28th of OCtober, 2008 (Tuesday). This was a Hi-tech sleeper Bus (Non-AC) and I had boarded the bus at about 8:30 pm at night. The bus did leave on time and the initial two hours of the journey was fine. However, after 10 pm at night, the bus developed a mechanical problem. The driver carried on with the journey, but to our horror, he came to a stop near Karwar along the Mumbai-Mangalore Highway, at about 1 am at night. The driver nor the conductor was bothered about getting the issue sorted out. He just stopped the bus and did not even bother to call the travel office for help. He had a good nap and in the morning at 7 am, he goes about searching for a local mechanic, find one, gets the mechanical problem sorted out, and carries on (we left the place at 8: 30 am). The entire 7 and a half hours, we were stranded in a forest, and the company personnel were even not concerned about us. I really consdier this very ridiculous and irresponsible on the part of Sharma Transport. Finally, a journey which was supposed to last for 15 hours, ended up for 24 hours.
