[Resolved] Shift thought — Shift thoughts cheated me on telemarketing call | |||
I suvarn patel having a hdfci bank credit card. My credit card number is 5xxx XXXX XXXX 0740. I got a fraud call which made fraudulent transaction was made by the said company and charged rs.6399.00 on 21/11/12. I have been informed by the said company that I am a preferred customer of hdfc bank credit card and I will receive some discount cards with other benefits like cash discounts on shopping, family trips, etc. After that I have received a message containing 6 digit passwords. As per them these is confirmation password. Then I was requested to punch this password and other information. After that I have received another call & I have followed above said information. After completion of whole process I have received a message that a transaction of rs.6399.00 made on hdfc credit card 4xxx0740 at ivr shiftthought on 21/11/2012.Before entering in this matter I asked them that is there any fees or charges but they reply that there is no such fees or charges of this scheme. So I was cheated like this. Immediately after this I got a call from hdfc bank asking whether you made this transaction I said them the person said you have been cheated we are blocking the credit card and asked to contact customer care. Now I want to cancel that transaction and refund back the amount of rs.6399/-. Instantly I call hdfc bank customer care to block my above said credit card so that further fraud should not be happened. I book complaint but today hdfc customer care refuse to launch complaint saying that this is a 3d secure transaction so we cannot book complaint. My request is that I am paying the amount to credit card and hdfc is paying that amount to ivr shift cancel that amount. Was this information helpful? | |||
