If the fact that 04 out of my five purchases made through SYW were seriously bungled did not swear me off them. Blatant lying, continually reneging on promises and extremely POOR customer support has ensured that I would never dare to do business with these unprofessional people again. Intend dragging these people to consumer court in the coming week. People you have been warned. Documentary proof of misdemeanor if required can be provided by writing to me as pjashish at the rate of gmail dot com so that no that no one else ever has to go through the harassment I went through.

I have had a very very bad experience with Shop Your World. I ordered something and paid in full (in full!) in the first week of Oct 2011. By end-Nov, I had not received anything. I checked by sending them an email/ online chat - and I am told the seller cannot provide the item! So what to do? they asked me. I said let's cancel the order. I cancelled on 01 Dec 2011. I got an email confirming my refund will be received by me in 12-15 days. After 19 days, I had not received anything.
So I called/ chatted again. On the chat, the agent tells me "30th Dec you will get". Then, later I get a call from someone in Shop Your World, saying I will get the refund only by 15 Jan 2012!
Most importantly, the person who calls me was aggressive, and clearly stated to me "We have done nothing wrong". According to them, I have done the mistake by buying from them!
Which is absolutely true. They seem to be more intent on taking people's money and not being able to deliver. And on top of that, they believe they are doing the right thing!
I am quite sure I will never in my life go there again. Nobody should.
