[Resolved]  Sivasankar Gas Agency, Porur, Chennai — Poor Supply of gas & Poor booking

iam Manikandan from chennai. I have gas connection of indane gas with Sivasankar Gas Agency 14,Kundrathur Road,Porur, Chennai-600116
My consumer no is 67256

We do gas booking with Shivashankar agency through phone every time and were committed by the agency that we would receive the gas within 21 days. But we found that we didnot receive the gas even after the speculated time given by the agency. We kept reminding the agency after 21 days to get the LPG cylinder delivered but the response is very very poor and negligible. Atlast the reply from the agency was our door has been closed while delivering the cylinder, hence rebooking has been done for the same consumer number once again, such that, we have to wait for another 21 days to recive the cylinder. But, truly speaking, our door was not closed. Always my spouse will be present in our home(especially she present 3 days before and after during the days we need to receive the cylinder). I , think they(the delivery boy) sell the cylinder in black and give false statement to the agency that-"the door was clesed" .

Even , if the door is closed, they could have contacted us through cell phone about the arrival of cylinder.
We are ready to pay the phone charges even plus the usual tips rupees 10 or 20 along with the cost of cylinder. So, it is clearly known that, cheating is going on.Moreover lot of consumer's like me has sufferred a lot and still sufferring from this problem. General Fraud Statement - " The Door Locked". Now a days all the delivery boys are having mobile phones, hence it is our kind request that, the company shall insist the delivery boy to contact the customers about the arrival of the gas cylinder and the same has to be recorded in some other means.
Hope to hear from you regarding this so that we will get some kind of justice against these kind of practises

Ganesh Gas Agency — cylinder not received for the past 14 days

my name is k.l.ummar living in the address of 10/60,mugappair east, chennai-600 037.
And our gas registration number is 8235.
we have booked the cylinder on 20/10/2010 now todays date is 4/11/2010 still now we have not received our cylinder from the gas agency, we have called many times they usually use to say 'by tomorrow or by day after tomorrow you will get it ' likewise we have not still this date.

Shivshankar agencies — Poor Gas supply - reg

even though we booked our gas request 2 weeks before, still not received the gas.. we are tring to call Shivasankar agencies but always busy............ then how we can get confirm when we can get gas. our gas is about over now.. please do the needful.

Following it, the agency was very bad in response and delivery.


We got new connection with so many and paying lot of money and for the additional cylinder they told to come after one month. So we went they gave slip which says the number for refilling. but I need for additional cylinder again we booked for refilling and asked when will we get and their response was this is not the procedure and who gave the information like this. O.K. Fine atlast we register for the second cylinder after 3month which should be happened with in a month.

I register the cylinder on November and they told that intimation letter will come on January. But it has not come. When we called up they told letter will not come you should come with your documents.

Today we went for that all procedures were changed, they are not allowing inside also. One person from outside asking and giving one more form. This should be filled. So finally after refill booking should come and then only we can get additional cylinder because, if you are paying for addtional cylinder, you will not get refilling cylinder.

There is no proper intimation for this. they have mobile number they can give update by sending sms or any delay in delivering cylinder.

I suffered alot still there is no proper response and not picking call. If so their answers are not accpetable. As working woman like me so many people . Please take action on them.
