I have a flat in mumbai, at the time of booking the flat from the builders I did not purchase the car parking. The builder has yet to transfer the car-parking to my society. When the builder handsover the carparking rights to the society. I want to know if I am eligible for obtaining a carparking from the society. Currently my flat is given on lease for which i pay the non-occupation charges to the society.
The society members say that since I give my flat on lease, I do not get first preference. And the first preference will be given to those living in the building. Is this as per the law. I am already paying NOC charges, just because I do not live there does that mean that I do not get car-parking as per all the owners rights. Was this information helpful? |
