[Resolved]  STAR HOMES COCHIN — Star Homes Cheat Pravasi Malayalees

I have to get about Rs. 75, 000/- towards the rent from them. I think I spent more than this amount to call them on the phone and sending registered letters etc.. wasted so much of my time... but of no use. If anything positive happens ... please let me also know... I will be there with you all to fight againt this sort of cheats.

I have sent thee Legal Notice to Mr. Ajay. Once it has returned as addressee moved thee place. Again I have sen thee same letter on 9the Jan 2012. Still I am waiting for thee acknowledgement for furtheer proceedings. All my loss and mental agony have been described in thee legal notice and asked for thee compensation. As thee quality of building is still a question, I may not be agree to accept thee possession of thee property.

By the grace of Allah, fortunately i got my all due payment from Star Homes. Since i have recoved my finance, i no longer intend to continue my complaint henceforth. I booked my flat with Star homes, at their project Star Meadows and presently staying in Star apartments trippunithura . I wish to inform you all that Star Annex has got Electricity and water connections. Even some of the block have handed over to owners. Kindly check .

I am from Kuwait, even my apartment @ Thripunithara Annexe is not handed over. They keep on giving excuses, and postponding the dates; and recently sent a long letter, saying they failed. They take our hard earned money and enjoy life and say they failed.
I will join to fight legally for our rights and the money.

I also booked a flat and a shop in their project in Tirupunitara, Kochi and paid them the entire money in 2004. They adjusted the rental payments against registration and other charges but once that was completed, their cheques started bouncing back. I still have to get possession of the shop No. 45/6 in the complex but somehow got my flat, without any registration done. They have not paid me money back. They are full of vague promises. Last December I filled a case against them for cheating in Consumer Court at Ernakulam. Till date, no response from the court also. May be they have bribed the court also not to take cognigence of any complaint against them.

I too bought a flat in Aluva from Star Homes. The project was getting delayed and finally we have formed an association and took charge of the completion. and now the work is in-progress. They are in a very big financial crisis and I don't think there is any point in going back to them for all these, they will obviously fire some excuses to get rid of your questions.

What you should do is that form an association similar to what we did and took charge of the completion and go ahead.

I just got the registration deed done and now waiting for the ownership deed for a flat in Tripunithara. I am also looking out for a suitable tenent for the 2 bedroom house. Since I was posted in Dubai i could not get any updates from Star Homes. Now I have registered the flat myself and I hope i will get the reiumbursent from them for the same.

I am Francis Thomas from Kottayam. May I make a suggestion. Why not we all meet together oneday in convenient place and think for the future plans. I hope you all remember what happened with Apple A Day properties. We could also do something similar and try to get our hard eanred money back. If any body interested I am more than willing to come along and do whatever I can. I think they, Star Homes, are simply buying time to get all their properties including the so called Star County, Aluva to be disposed and escape forever from us and the Law. so if we want to act, act immediately.
