[Resolved] steelco furniture — poor service and product
This is complaining against product and service, which I have taken last year from STEELCO furniture, 26 shakespeare sarani, kolkata 17. I have taken one dining table six setter model no. DE 215/201B at the rate of Rs. 15500 purchase date was 7 June 2008. They have given 1 year warranty period. It is my bad luck the one leg of the table was come out from the dining table just after the warranty period. Any way I have to bear the repair cost and the service charges.
On 22nd December 09 I call them to repair my table. They have made their query and told me, we have to look first what kind of table that was? Then again I am asking them how it will come out so early from the glass. At the time of purchase you are telling it will go six seven years but it has come out in the next year only. I was surprised and feel the table was not good enough to long last after six month there is rust on the frame. Any way that person is telling me this has to fix by lesser process and all that. It will take two day at least to fix and set the table. Ok I ask him to what was the cost for that all process. Then he said the service charges for the day is 250 only and if there is any kind of replace the thing it will cost you. I said to him ok you come and do the job.
After some days he calls me in the morning at 6.50 am, sir I am coming to your house to repair the table. And after coming he saw the table and asking me to give the money for purchase of aldratite, then I told him boss are you going to fix that one from aldratite only then he says yes, it will fix your table leg to the glass, then I have just loose my temper but I control at that time and told him boss I am giving you 250 per day for the service for this job , I will do myself only it does not need any kind of expertise am I a fool to give you 500 for two days and the 100 for the aldratite it is a kind of jok is it? When I call you people” you are telling that it was fix by lesser and all that where was all that” I am very much disappointed the company is not even providing advises the aldratite. At the time of purchase they were giving so much assurance that you just don’t worry about the goods and services we will every time for you. But I found nothing like that. I am ready to give the service charges but when he asked me to give the money for aldratite, I just decided not to repair the thing from them, and I find some other one for this job. But I want to convey the message to them you have loose your customer. Do necessary action against them.
