Please follow the following guidelines, which will ensure that there are no hindrances
while installing the data cable and using internet services.
Do not use duplicate or unauthorized data cables for internet access.
Ensure that the mobile has enough charge in the battery before starting the internet session.
Make sure that you have a post paid mobile connection with TATA Indicom.
Check whether 'data feature' is enabled / activated on your mobile phone (call 121 for any help).
Make sure that the mobile is ON and connected to the USB cable while installation.
Ensure that you are in ADMINISTRATOR login while installing the data cables.
While creating dial-up connection, please enter the following accordingly:
a. Phone Number: #777
b. User Name: internet
c. Password: internet
Please note that the username and password are case sensitive. Both have to be internet (lower case).
Ensure that the Windows used is not a pirated version.
Ensure that the updated Windows version is installed or the latest service pack is installed along with windows
Make sure that you use the SAME USB PORT for internet access where it was installed on the first place.
Wait till the complete disconnection has happened before physically removing the data cable from the USB port.
Have good virus protection software installed on your computer.
Keep the driver CD safe, so that it can be used for reinstallation later, if required.
Handle the data cable with care.
