[Resolved] Su-Kam — Complaint against poor service | |||
I had bought a SU-KAM inverter(Model No. 800VA Cosmic) & battery(150AH) on 21st March 2010, currently installed at 'LAKSHMI APPT' Flat-2, 1st Floor, 51/45. Dumdum Road, Kolkata-700074. Since then it has been observed that the battery is not performing as per its Amp-hour rating or as per the committed time of back up. Complaint was lodged several times in local service centre within the warranty period, service engineer turned up every time, but couldn't find the root cause of the problem. Recently, again I had complained regarding the problem (which has taken a severe form). Now since the warranty is over now the engineer concluded that there is some problem in the battery. I wrote regarding this to SU-KAM customer care (Mr. Raja Bhattacharjee), but they are giving stress on the fact that the warranty period of the product is over. But, this is to be noted that during the warranty period, inspite of visiting the problem several times, the engineer couldn't find the root cause. As soon as the warranty period is over they are claiming that your battery is faulty and need to be changed by paying the required charges. Seeking for your help. Was this information helpful? | |||
