[Resolved]  Swift Vdi — Denying of Claim

Sub: Iffco Tokio GIC Ltd/Car Insurance Complaints-Iffco Tokio GIC Ltd denying to pay my claim as cashless.

Sir/ Madam
This is to inform you that my Swift VDI Car no. PB10CR-9492 insured from Iffco Tokio GIC Ltd policy no. 90126009 got damaged in the month of december (dtd[protected] while i was on the way to Ludhiana from Hoshiarpur.

One man on cycle was coming from wrong side hit on the car and got swear injuries and get injured but now he is safe and back to his home after the complete first aid as the same is also mentioned in police report.I reported this loss at toll free number of Iffco Tokio and company officials registered my claim as Claim no. 1#770kX1 and they send surveyor Mr. Charanjeet Singh for spot survey and then the car was sent to Stan Autos Sherpur Chowk.


I was earlier given the written consent on[protected] of the total loss of my car of RS 4,35,000/- estimated by the surveyor Mr. Charanjeet Singh.But after a month and a half Mr.Charanjeet Singh told process will take the time for the consent of total loss,so i should go for the repair of car, i agreed with him and go for it.

Now the car has been repaired by th Stan Auto and at the time of bill payment Mr.Charanjeet Singh is not allowing for the cashless claim of the car.

When i talk to him,he is saying that company is demanding the affidavit from us and from the third party that in future if any third party claim is launched by the third party the insurance company will not be responsible for any claim, when i said to that our policy is full insured policy including the third party claim then Mr. Charanjeet Singh said that don't argue with me as the papers are demanded by the company"s manager in Ludhiana office who is Mr Sunil talk to him .When i tried to talk with Mr.Sunil, very rudely asks me not to call him, as this matter is lying with Mr. Charanjeet Singh.

When i didnt get any reply from them then i talked to Jamkash Vehicles in Jammu(Maruti dealer)as my car is insured through them and they told us that car policy must be cashless policy claim either the third party loss is included.The company"s demand is very ridiculous and asked us for given the matter to Maruti"s service chamber.My complaint is also registered in Maruti"s with the complaint number [protected] (dtd[protected] but every time they said,"Sir, your complaint status is still in process, when we get any reply we will respond u as early as possible.Sorry, for inconvenience." Still today i didnt get any reply from any of the company"s official. The company is intrested in only sale not for services.

We want to know ,in future if any third party claim will be launched why the customer should be responsible.as my policy is full insured by the company. At the time of inspection company"s surveyor Mr. Charanjeet Singh didnt discuss with me regarding any kind of affidavits. Cause of accident i already mentioned in claim form and the condition of the car from front was already telling the truth that our claim was 100% genuine.I want to ask Iffco Tokio GIC Ltd that when they dont have capacity to pay claims, why did they insure my car.

The matter is totally stated that the company"s officials and Surveyor appointed by them is only for not to give the claims or to delayings the claims as possible as they can to customers.

My car is now repaired and lying with the Stan Autos for want of cashless funds to be paid to the repairer. Now we have no other alternate except to go with the IRDA or Consumer Court for release of funds.

We hope you will fnd the easy way instead of compelling to go for litigation.
